Great food but the bag shrank
This is a great food for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I used this for years with one of my dogs and it was the only thing he could tolerate for a while. My dog always loved the taste and had a nice, shiny coat on it. The kibbles are small which are perfect for small dogs. I used to soak them in water in a slow feeder and they’d get soft easily.The only two reasons that I give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars are 1) the bag size decreased from 5 pounds to 4 pounds while staying the same price. That winds up creating a significant price increase! 2) there is a relatively high fat content (17%) that can be a bit hard for certain dogs with sensitive stomachs/pancreases. The fat content is similar to a lot of regular dog foods but if your dog has digestive issues/any other sensitivities, it’s just something to be aware of. I wound up having to switch my dog to something lower fat and his ultrasound normalized (as did his stool).The only other thing to be aware of is that the food does smell obviously fishy (it’s made of fish). If that bothers you or your dog, I would buy the lamb version.

After finding that my poodle chewed the skin at her legs on a chicken kibble diet, I switched to this food. She does not get itchy and it is good for her sensitive stomach. Since it is salmon, it is good for poodle coat. I mix it with Blue Wilderness Lamb canned food and she happily gobbles it up.

I swear by this food! We have a senior fur baby who is unfortunately infested with tumors. We’ve tried so many different dog foods looking for something he can keep down to improve his quality of life. This is ONLY one that has worked for him and works well. It’s always fresh, he has no problem chewing or digesting it, he’s getting the nutrition he needs, and he’s actually excited at meal time. I highly recommend this dog food.

I bought this food for my dog that was scratching more than I thought was normal. The vet recommended adding fish oil to her diet, and this food looked like a good choice to try. She has now been eating it for over two months and her scratching has lessened considerably. Overall, I am very pleased. Another big perk is that she loves it, and readily finishes off her meals. I would highly recommend this food.
