Well rounded splint kit
Bought for my go bag/first aid bag. Gives me good peace of mind that if something happens to one of us while we are out hiking or camping we can immobilize an arm or leg if needed.

Seem well made
Used SAM splint in training, these seem similar. Added to volunteer fire kit.

It has a lot more than I expected!
The primary goal here is to be completely honest, so honestly, I prefer duct tape and anything paper or cloth. Actually, any tape will do except scotch tape, as it tends to not stick to any kind of, shall we say liquids. This is the first, first aid kit (no joking, it really is the first) I’ve ever had in my many years of duct tape. I’m not going to highlight everything you’ve already read 5 times in the info description, as I believe that is the first step toward insanity. I do recommend you: Inventory everything individually so you’re familiar with where and what is in the kit before it might be needed in an emergency. Keep in mind that it is not water proof when storing it in a handy place. Replace the fever scan with an actual non breakable thermometer. Add a few larger gauze pads and a larger roll of medical tape. And last but not least, remember, you are not an EMT or Trauma Doctor, so First Call 911 if it is going to take more than a band-aid and especially if there is even a slight chance of a life or death situation! It is always better to proceed with assistance, but first err on the side of caution!! This First Aid Kit Rates High with a few Replacements, on the Claydog Approval Scale!! Enough Said, Wrench Drop!! Thanks for your time, Claydog

Nice and organized.
Definitely better than other kits I’ve kept in my truck. I did supplement this with a number of other emergency first aid items (additional splints, clotting agents, multiple ace bandages, , etc.) for backcountry travel, but this covered the simple basics well.

Must have for any first aid/survival kit
I’m a health care pro and was asked to “build” a first aid/survival kit for a couple of family members that camp and hike a lot. I found a great kit to begin with and added these. A must have for any first aid/survival kit. Hopefully, never needed but when you do you’ll be ready. I highly recommend if your first aid/survival kit doesn’t come with these you need to add them. These are all sizes in the set. Perfect!

Compact and storage friendly.
Size was perfect and made it very easy to put in a travel first aid kit. Cost was very affordable.

I bought this hoping to never use it as an U14 rugby squad 1st aider. It’s been sat in the kit for 6 months until a lad from another team dislocated his knee and they had no suitable equipment. The splint was very easy to cut and mould to shape. I had the splint on within a few minutes which made it much more comfortable for the lad when he was moved. So easy to use and so effective – this will always be a key part of the 1st aid kit moving forward

I went to write a review of the 245-piece first aid kit that arrived today. I was going to say that if you’re on the fence and trying to decide between the 245 piece and 166 piece kits, go for the smaller 166 piece is my advice. It has pretty much the same contents, is better laid out, and has a molle attachment so you can mount it detachably on a backpack or the inside of your vehicle more easily than the larger kit. However, when I went to write that I was taken to edit the earlier review of the smaller kit I’ve been using for a few months, rather than to write a new review of the larger, different kit. This is a real problem with reviews now. You write a review of one product. And later find that review is inappropriately attached to a different (albeit related product.)Anyway, I’ve left my original review of the smaller (166 piece) kit below for posterity:Great wee first aid kit. I used it almost immediately, when a family member nearly sliced the tip of their finger off. Protip: snap the side of the iodine cotton buds that is marked with a line to release the iodine into the opposite side.

Purchased, contents rage from Best before 2025-2028 I imagine they’ll all be good until 2026 ~ 2 years cover. Not terrible.Inside contents are labelled BearHOHO, which I know is another brand of similar design. So looks like it all comes out the same Chinese factory.
