Long enough for lots of play room
Although my moyen poodle is only 38 lbs., this leash is working well for our exercise outings. It is a bit large, so some folks with small hands may find it too bulky. My hands aren’t large, but I’m managing it very well.There is a slight learning curve to master its operations – like not engaging the lock accidentally. With just a little bit of use the operations becomes second nature. It retracts automatically as it should, so my little girl has a lot of safely managed play area.

Great retractable leash, it even stood up to my dog that famous for breaking retractables
It works really well, and is made to a high standard. For certain the best quality retractable leash I have owned. I have a chorkie (yorkshire terrier/chihuahua), and he is super fast and really strong. The funny thing is he is only nine pounds but he needs the large dog retractable because he runs so fast and pulls so hard when he does that he breaks them. He hasn’t been able to break this one and its really great for large areas when you want to let them run more and have more freedom. My chorkie hates other dogs so I can’t take him to dog parks, so this is the only way he can have the freedom of running about but still have the safety of being leashed. Believe me he has gotten away before and he was so frightened he could not recognize me or my daughter when we were trying to catch him and he crossed into an area he wasn’t familuar with. He literally ran around the neighborhood for four hours. We never did catch him, he just finally figured out his way home. Luckily we live near the ocean and there is a bike path that we walk all the time and he found his way there, so he could find his way home. Everyone wishes they can let their dogs run free but more times then not it not the safest or smartest thing to do for our pets. It is also really great that it has an area for the poop bags so you do have to worry about that either. I really enjoy how comfortable it feels in my hand when I am using it as well.

Biggest and strongest retractable dog leash I have ever had. This item is SUPER HEAVY-DUTY and it pulls out really long to give dogs lots of freedom but still be on a leash due to rules. This leash is somewhat heavy to hold but for someone with BIG dogs then this is perfect. It is very high quality and worked very smoothly. The clasp turns freely and smoothly. The leash itself retracted very smooth and quick. The locking mechanism was easy to work with just one hand. My thumb could reach the button as I have a ladies medium/average-size hand but someone with small hands or a child might have trouble reaching the locking button and I think this would possibly be too heavy for young kids or those with hand-strength issues. This leash was a bit oversized and heavy at the collar due to such a big heavy-duty clasp for my little dog at 6 lbs. – but I would definitely still rate this product at 5 stars as it is very good quality but just not realistic for tiny or extra-small dogs such as chihuahua or chiweenies or teacup sized doggies. My 6-lb chiweenie had trouble pulling the leash as it gave too much resistance for her – well until she saw a squirrel and then she actually could pull it out to its full length. This would be absolutely perfect for big dogs for sure. The poop bag holder is a nice feature and stays on tight. Easy to refill by twisting the end off. I would say perfect for dogs who like to pull and go off the path a little ways to find those special smells as it is very heavy duty and strong and allows them a nice freedom while still staying leashed.

Not for Small Hands
I think I loved everything about this leash. I got it for my sister, who has a well-behaved Rottweiler that she frequently takes on hikes. I think this may be the longest retractable leash for larger dogs I have ever seen. All of my dogs are little, so to test it, I stood on the leash and then pulled as hard as I could. It held strong! Super durable, smooth extension and retraction, and it gives the fur babies room to explore and still be safe. The little poo bag container just clicks right into place and stays there securely.The size is a little large, honestly. As a woman with smaller hands, I cannot get what I feel is a really secure grip on the handle because my fingers will not go all the way around the handle. See pix. I would be afraid to walk a powerful dog with this, even one that is well-trained. You just never know when they are going to have a squirrel moment.Overall, for its long length, 110# dog weight limit and durability, this is a great value for money, if you have average sized to larger hands. Highly recommended.

A sturdy feeling leash with 26′ of freedom for Fido!
This PINA brand is really a very nice retractable dog leash. I really like having a long leash when there are areas of our walks where the dogs can experience a lot more freedom to roam, yet still have the ability to lock the leash and keep the animal close by my side. I take my dog out almost daily using a recumbent tricycle. This allows my dog to be able to trot at his preferred speed while allowing me to keep up. The quick and positive retraction of this leash means that neither myself nor my pet experiences any harsh jerking of the leash or the collar. The housing has a comfortable grip that feels nice and the 26 ft of leash also means that I can stay far enough away to not accidentally run him over. We both appreciate that! The leash also comes with a doggy bag dispenser that clips onto the body of the leash making cleaning up after your pet no less disgusting but much more convenient! I have had many retractable leashes over the years and most end up in the garbage can due to breakage of the retracting mechanism. I don’t foresee that being the case with this leash for quite some time. It has a very good feel to it, and the latch for attaching the leash to the collar or harness is extremely heavy duty, that, and the weight rating leading me to believe that the rest of this is not made cheaply.
