Cat Training Success!
Bought this specifically to help with training my four cats and it WORKS! My cats ages range from 2-13 and all of them have made amazing progress using this as a conditioned reinforcer. They had already had a somewhat basic understanding of a couple simple verbal commands, but now they are performing reliably to verbal commands AND hand signals! I have never trained with a clicker before and none of them have ever had any clicker training prior to this, but they all took to it pretty quickly. My youngest was a little scared of the sound at first, but with proper conditioning and desensitizing she has grown more confident!I have and will recommend clicker trainer forever more after this. The difference this has made in the communication between us and our cats has been incredible. They even ask for training time at the end of the night every night. It is extremely easy to use and to learn (there are a lot of resources online if you need help on how to start).It is extremely comfortable in the hand and easy to click. The click is also not too loud, easy on the ears. I think it is the ideal size and the wrist strap is useful, though I’ve yet to use it.

The product was great for me. Right when I received it i immediately introduced it to my dog and my dog completely got the hang of it. It’s a good product especially for people like me where my hand gets numb and it’s hard for me to use my hand at times so the button to make the click sound is very gentle and doesn’t require any strength at all. The overall look of it is exactly what you see in the picture very satisfied. Another plus is that it requires no batteries so you’re good to go for a very long time with training your pets.

Mercedes and Me .. The Journey
Im convinced that MY fur babys name is among the top 5 names of the world wide list of naughty doggies haha ..no seriously, if you see “Mercedes Troupe” on there, that’s her lol .. straight out of her birth momma’s womb, she was full throttle hellbent to thoroughly test every nerve in my human body! .. When I said “no!”, she said “let’s go!” .. you ever watch the movie “Marley and Me”?? .. yeah well, they got the name wrong.. it’s “Mercedes and Me” .. I’m 54 yrs old and I’ve loved many many fur babies in my lifetime and I’m telling you, this one is by far the one reserved to see just how much I love her haha.. when she was a baby .. wait, who am I kidding, even NOW, she’s extremely high energy.. 120 mph without letting off the gas .. she runs full circles around the property faster than my eyes can keep up with her .. when she started noticing my eyes weren’t keeping up, she began darting beyond her boundaries.. I’d whistle and she’d eventually carry her “proud of herself” tail back .. this here clicker?? .. two words.. Game Changer .. You see, she got used to all the sounds she’d grown up with.. learned that all my antics and noises were merely fear mongering with no real consequence to follow (by the time I wrangle her butt back in the house, I’m too exhausted to hand out a consequence!) .. but this clicker.. what a foreign sound it makes.. sounds like it actually echos so she can’t zero in where it’s coming from much less determine whether or not she should be worried about it.. so like any good well behaved pup, she runs RIGHT TO ME to save her lol .. problem solved.. the key is to always keep it in your pocket, never let them see it, and for heavens sake DON’T FEEL BAD for scaring the sense into your fur baby .. it really is ok to scare them instead of losing them to an unsuspecting car travelling past..something else that’s important, while they’re outside romping around playing, keep ur hand in your pocket with your fingers ready to click ..the very moment they step beyond their boundary click three times then call them back.. it trains them pretty quickly not to cross that boundary.. and if you’re as lucky as I am, you won’t even need the clicker anymore after about a week of doing this.. I think Mercedes “got it” after about 5 days actually.. so this is great.. a wonderful training tool.. a surety that you can move your pup out of the top 5 naughty doggies for sure lol .. Nice loud sound that can be heard a distance of metres away. Very sharp click easy for animal to hear. Coiled cord is handy for hanging from wrist and clip is great for hanging off belt loop if required. Good value for money.
