Senior dog food my dog will eat!
Update: Meryl likes this food, that’s saying a lot for her! I’ve been ordering this in various sizes depending on our needs and the last order arrived much earlier than Amazon originally indicated. Yay!My dog is an active senior girl. Yet she had a bit of a struggle with her meals. She’s not excited about meal time anymore… until I bought this food.I heard about some possible (although unofficial) problem’s with the brand of food that she was eating at the time and this brand was recommended to replace it. I bought it out of an abundance of caution and to my surprise she took right to it. I have since ordered a limited ingredient food for her to try (that she ate when she was younger) but I will probably end up ordering her this again because she is actually eating it.

Not sure if it was the novelty if being a new kibble, or if he really loves it. I mixed it with a few pounds of the kibble he’s been eating for awhile. Hoping he continues to really like this brand, flavor, etc.

Excellent Senior Dog Food
I went into my local Feed store to buy California Natural Adult Weight Control formula for my senior dog. Apparently the company had gone out of business. They highly recommended the Tuffy’s Pet Food Nutrisource Dog Food. We purchased two flavors: Salmon, and Chicken and Rice flavors. Our dog did not care for the salmon flavor (the cat did), but he ate the Chicken and Rice Formula like it was candy. We used to let him free feed, as he never over-ate. Now we have to portion out his meals twice a day because he loves this product. We ended up ordering it here on Amazon, as we could get a much bigger bag at a more reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Not a good healthy dog food by any means
This dog food has fillers and all sorts of other stuff in it that are not good for your dog. Any and all hard baked kibble is not good for your dog either no matter what the brand is or what it says on the bag. When they cook the food and turn it into kibble they destroy all the proteins and all that’s left are carbohydrates which in turn puts weight on your dog. All of the extra fillers they put in will make your dog get sick over time and develop anything from cancer to diabetes to enlarged heart or organ failures. I did my research and the best food out there for your dog is Dr Marty’s freeze dried dog food. It’s not cheap but then again it has all the proper nutrients and the best nutrients for your dog and cat with no added fillers or other bad things that your animals should not be eating. It is a complete balanced diet and it is freeze-dried not cooked at high temperatures which means all the nutrients stay in the food. All you have to do is take one cup of the dehydrated food and add some warm water to it for 3 to 4 minutes then give it to your dog or cat. I bought some 2 weeks ago and my dogs absolutely gobble it down and they love it. It also gives them more energy and since it has no carbohydrates in it it’s also a weight control type of food also due to not having carbohydrates in it. When feeding this to your dog look at the reference chart on the back and that will tell you how many cups per day you should feed your dog. If you do notice over a month or two that your dog has put on a couple of extra pounds then you’re advised to cut back 1/8 of a cup in the morning and 1/8 of a cup in the evening. Then see how that works for you and if your dog’s weight starts to decline some. It’s one of the safest foods and most nutritious foods on the market. But remember no matter what a dried kibble bag says about being healthy for your pet, any and all kibble is cooked it over 500 degrees which destroys all the nutrients in the food and only leaves all the bad fillers and carbohydrates which in turn will make your dog sick over time. I’ve researched this for years and please just what I’m telling you in this message.
