My Dog Loves These!
We chose to buy these raw hide free chew sticks for our now two year old chi-mix and he loves them!They are braided and my dog has learned to get them apart into three separate strips in record time. So, for him, it’s like he hit the jackpot! Three!But seriously, my dog loves these things. They keep him busy and are good for his dental health. They do have a slighlty gross smell when wet from dog saliva. I only know this because one was left right next to my face one morning while I was still in bed sleeping. I woke up wondering what that awful smell was! I give these an A++ and highly reccomend. Just don’t get too close to a freshly chewed stick until it dries.

This thing smells like putrid death but my dog absolutely LOVES it. My dog is high energy and this keeps him calm and distracted for at least an hour.

I love the idea of these bully sticks. As a pet parent who cares deeply about what my dogs eat, I don’t mind paying a little more for wholesome food and treats. I bought my dogs a bully stick from the local Petco store, and they absolutely loved it! I thought when I found these, what a fantastic deal! Much cheaper than buying them individually from the local Pet place. My dogs loved them, no question about that. If you asked my dogs, they’d say 5 stars and give me another!! For me I just can not.The Pros:1. They are all natural2. For my 12 week old labrador retriever puppy this treat last a long time.3. No added homrones, preservatives, chemicals: again all natural.4. They are safe and not going to harm my dogs.5. My dogs love them.The Cons:1. The reason I did not give them 5 stars is because OMG do they stink! I stopped buying cow hooves for the same reason. Yes my dogs love them, but they reek in my house! Not an inside treat! I was sitting on my couch reading my book and my puppy was in here crate next to the couch eating it and I couldn’t stand the smell. I have sever allergies so my nose isn’t that great. So if it bothers me and I can smell it, than it REALLY is stinky!! I am not sure what makes them stink so bad and why the ones you buy at Petco don’t. The brand I got from Petco was RedBarn, and they too are all natural, processed without artificial ingredients, preservatives, or colors, and are low in odor; I couldn’t smell them unless I stuck them close to my nose.2. My 1 year old labrador retriever can get through one in a matter of minutes. So I am not sure eating through this so fast is helping his teeth or worth the money.

Excellent choice better price.
Better than expected. I usually spend 8-12 dollars each for similar product at petco. It was getting highly expensive so I figured I’d give these a go. My dog loves them. I was so excited when they came today I didn’t wait for him to finish the old one. He really likes them. If you have a finicky chewer these are great!For those of you that wonder these are the 5″-6″ he won’t chew smaller.He can chew through one in about 4 hours if left to do so. He is a heavy chewer. Splitting the braids he ends up with 2-3inch pieces after a 4 hour chew session. 5-6″ is great for experienced chewers of small breed(7-10lbs) and best for pups between 12-40 lbs. The tiny ones are a good starting place for very small dogs with no experience chewing or limited in range of motion(puppies or teacup).This product is cleaned, dried, and braided bull penis(pizzle). It is the safest form of “bone” you can give to your dogs. Rawhide can cause digestive issues and in general isn’t good for oral hygiene. The bully sticks are fully digestible and provide hours of entertainment. In my opinion(that of someone purchasing these products for years) Bully sticks are preferable to most dogs, 12 inch sticks are best for larger dogs between 60-120 lbs. Larger dogs would need a few of these to satisfy their chewing urges. If you don’t like the smell that comes from the non-deodorized version they come deodorized. I do however think you will disappoint your pooch… it’s a part of the chewing experience.

Strong smell and does not last long.
Our usual brand was out of stock so we tried this one. I didn’t know that my wife had bought a different brand but did notice the strong smell coming off of these so I knew it wasn’t our usual. Our bernadoodle also polished this one off in about 10 minutes where it takes her much longer to finish the other ones. Hope our old brand comes back in stock.

Naturre Gnaws disappoints
We have ordered these for a while for our two daschunds and this last order is not the same quality we are used to. They cannot even chew them up and have totally lost interest. Not sure what they did to change them. Very disappointed.

I clearly made a mistake when I bought it, as part of a larger AMZ order of dog treats and toys. So I didn’t notice the absurd price of $90 for 1 pack, that contains 3 braided bully sticks that are 6”. My 20 pound dog ate the bully stick in 10 minutes. These are the MOST expensive bully sticks I’ve ever seen, and they weren’t anything special. And really smelled too.DO NOT BUY!
