Picky kitties eat willingly
Dexter has about a dozen food allergies and this is one of the foods that he can eat. As it turns out he’s quite picky and this is one of the few foods he will eat willingly, without hesitation.I find it easier to feed the two other kitties the same food and everyone will eat this- thank goodness!!! Both Dexter and his brother are very picky so the fact that they willingly eat the Merrick brand limited ingredient diets that I purchased for them is everything to me.

The best cat food
I was having hard time finding stomach sensitive food for my cat till found Merrick Sensitive. My cat loves it and no more throw ups. She seems to be super happy with her food.

I like the listed ingredients but neither cat will eat; even the ‘garbage gut’ cat will go hungry rather than eat this. However, it’s one of the healthier cat foods out there so would still recommend to others.

No hidden ingredients for sensitive cat
My cat has had a sensitive stomach all her life but has no problems with Merrick Limited Ingredient. After having a lot of her teeth removed I had to switch her to canned food. She got sick on the foods with fish ingredients, but the Merrick has been fine. She absolutely loves the chicken flavor! It doesn’t have a bad “cat food” smell and is easy for her to eat.

Mislabeled packages or horrible recipe change!
My cat has been eating this limited ingredient chicken canned food but Merrick for 4 years. I’ve gotten 2 cases from Amazon and it smells like TUNA (my cat won’t eat fish, and will ONLY eat the old version of this food). I’ve thrown away 2 full cases of this crap! I had 1 can of the prior order that smelled good… Like CHICKEN should! I checked the numbers on the bottom of the cans. The correct chicken version I ordered a couple months ago, the last 4 digits of the numbers on the bottom start with “33xx”… This tuna smelling crap… All the cans start with “14xx”. I just went to PetSmart because my poor boy is hungry, and they had the “14xx,” (yucky tuna crap) numbers on the bottom… I got some anyway out of desperation, but I KNEW I was going to get home and it’d be wrong, and sure enough it was.I don’t know if they mislabeled thousands of cans as chicken when it’s tuna, if there’s something wrong with it, or if they changed the recipe.Whatever they did it’s DISGUSTING and my cat won’t go near it. For $60/case… They better get their act together… I’m calling Merrick tomorrow. I’m sick of wasting money and time chasing this product. I just saw some articles they sold to Purina. This is beyond frustrating. Unless it’s figured out ASAP, I’m going to find my boy a better food, but finding something he’ll eat is gonna be a challenge. This is all he’s ever had… He doesn’t like ANYTHING else. I’m pissed.And seeing others comments about it being made in China… Um, NO!
