This Melissa & Doug “The Wheels on the Bus” toy is an absolute favorite in my class! The bright colors, catchy song, and fun interactive design make it a total hit with kids. The sound quality is clear, and the buttons are easy for little hands to press — they love singing along to each verse! These are sturdy and thickness of board is good my kid dropped these many times but still it works greatThe bus is sturdy and well-made, with moving parts like the wheels and doors that make it perfect for pretend play. Kids love pretending to be the driver, passengers, or singing along as the bus “goes round and round.” It sparks so much imaginative play while also helping with rhythm, language, and action-based learning. My 5 year old fav ! Value for money .

Great for musically motivated toddlers
Updated: return process was easy. Replacement arrived next day and UPS picked up old one next day and brought their own label to put on box. Replacement puzzle worked perfectly. The song segments are just the right length – brief enough for the short attention spans but get through the verse once. The volume is adequate and not too loud. This puzzle uses the small red peg knows that require a toddler to use or practice their pincer grasp. The puzzle is thick and sturdy. I like the on/off switch. All M&D puzzles now use a high quality sticker on top so younger toddlers should be monitored and redirected when trying to mouth the pieces so as not to ruin the picture on the puzzle piece.Does not work, even in bright light. Product arrived quickly. No dents or scratches. Immediately ran out to drug store to buy brand new batteries. Switch on back turned to “on” and double checked batteries in correct orientation. I have tried under several bright lights in the house. Nothing. Hoping the company will reach out to replace. Meanwhile I’ll call Amazon. Will update review to report response.

Great for toddler!
Our toddler always asked us to play “bus?” From our phones. Now she has a way to play it herself. Only downside, don’t leave the pieces out of the puzzle while it’s on. Because when you come home at night and turn the lights on, the puzzle will start singing and will scare the **** out of you! 😆 Great puzzle for any toddler!!

Stops working
My grandson absolutely loved this puzzle. They would take turns picking up the pieces and putting them back and they really love this song. Then suddenly one day it just stopped working, so I said well Maybe it needs new batteries, even though I just put them in a month ago. I put new batteries in and it only works when it feels like it. We haven’t dropped haven’t done anything that would break it. It just decided to stop working. Disappointed Because now I can’t even return it for a replacement because it’s out of the window of return time, even though it’s only been two months

Song feature doesn’t work
I bought this for my daughter’s birthday, which was a few days after the return window closed…and, found out today when she opened it that the song feature is very hit or miss, maybe working 15% of the time. ☹️

Worth the price!
This is a sturdy puzzle, and the kids I use it with simply enjoy using it. The music plays when the pieces are taken off and the volume is not too loud. The colors are bright and the corners are rounded, which is very nice. The puzzle is thicker than most peg wooden puzzles, but that makes it more sturdy, which holds out better as many kids will be playing with it. Always a favorite song among the kids I work with so a nice visual is great for matching and singing.
