ABSOLUTELY LOVE
I bought these collars back in 2020 afraid the business would have gone under during Covid, but I recently FOUND ROAM AGAIN AND GOT A NEW COLLAR and I couldn’t more excited. If I’ve been a customer since back in the day and coming back to find them again- that already speaks for itself. I have a Frenchie- got him the size 4 with the control lead. In the lightest green (Washington rain). I remember these collars hold true to their stiffness and integrity. They don’t get as easily dirty as other collars. The texture of them is of extraordinary high quality. The design and their logo has always been my favorite element. Simple, elegant, and straight to the point. The reflectiveness (very subtle but definitely there) has helped me spot my dog while camping back in the day. Functionality is there- it is one of those buys that last a long time. When it comes to chewers, I’d expect damage but not as much as from other collars due to its durability. All I can say, is thank you ROAM for creating such a beautiful design and quality. As dumb as it sounds- I feel confident supporting your brand and seeing it beautifully lay on my dogs neck♡ (also if you have a frenchie I recommend getting a size 2.5 or 3. A 4 is perfect for outdoor use. But for staying at home and sleeping- a 4 is a bit too big in my opinion.)

Nice, functional collar
Nice collar. I bought the largest one for our huge lab and was surprised enough by its quality I bought a smaller one for our crazy shepherd. I was concerned about the latch closure, but it holds up really well and they have not gotten them off with their rough play. Very functional collar at a reasonable price. Size seemed accurate, and my dogs pout when I take them off for any reason so they must be comfortable.

Two Years Later and Still Going Strong!
Oreo’s been wearing this collar daily since July 2023, and it still looks brand new! The quality is outstanding!! sturdy hardware, sleek design, and great durability.We got the Colorado Nightsky in size 3, and I love how modern and clean it looks. It complements Oreo’s coat perfectly and gives him a stylish yet rugged vibe. The quick-release metal buckle works smoothly, making it super easy to put on and take off, and both the D-ring and tag ring feel solid and well-placed.After more than two years of everyday use, there’s no fraying, fading, or wear at all. It’s kept Oreo safe and comfortable on every walk. Definitely our favorite collar by far!

NOT FOR JOWLY DOGS!! This collar is well made from high quality materials. It is sturdy and durable. It will serve most dogs very well. However, our bulldogge who is very wrinkly and “jowly” ended up with a 1 inch by 2 inch sore on his neck from where the strap or buckle caused friction against his skin. My husband caught it early, but had it gone on too long, it could have become an ulceration. So, dogs with wrinkles, folds, loose/hanging neck skin, probably should not wear this collar. All other dogs should do fine!

Worth the price!
I purchased this collar after buying their Made to Roam harnesses, which I love. I bought the classic collar in a size 4 for my 60# female APT. Her neck circumference is ~ 18”, which falls in both the 3 and 4 size ranges. I went with the 4, as that’s the same size Made to Roam harness she wears.What sold me on the harness and now collar is the metal buckles. I’ve bought cheaper harnesses that worked well for my dog and lasted years, but I always struggle with releasing the plastic buckles. I either can’t release the buckles at all and/or manage to pinch my hands buckling them. I have a connective tissue issue that affects the dexterity in my hands. Add that to cold and/or rainy weather and my hands are useless. The buckles on the Made to Roam harness and collar are perfect for me. They make getting the collar and harness so much quicker and easier.The collar feels very well made, as well as it looks great. The material is stiff, but I think it will soften after the collar is worn for a while. As others have mentioned, the collars are heavier than any other collar I’ve bought. For my dog it isn’t an issue, but I’m not sure for smaller dogs. I have no concerns that this collar will stay on my dog, even in moments when she is pulling to chase squirrels on walks.Another positive for me is how this collar is sized. Our prior collar was a buckle collar that had holes, like a belt, for sizing. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a hole that she couldn’t slip out of the collar and still breathe at the same time. The Made to Roam collars use a sliding buckle to size the collar, so it allows for a much better fit.I highly recommend this collar, especially for bigger dogs. I know they may seem pricier than other collars on Amazon, but these are really well made and user friendly. I expect this collar to last a long time.

Beautifully made, but size 5 buckle too massive & heavy
The collar was very high quality. Beautifully made. My 6 month old Labrador puppy has been wearing a size 4 for about a month and a half in the light mauve color. When moved the middle buckle to make it bigger, it was stained black where the buckle used to be. I ordered a darker color in a size 5 to give her more room to grow and the connector buckle on the size 5 is massive and very heavy. I think it’s way too heavy for my dog to wear on her neck every day. I’m disappointed because I wanted to love it. They’re made so well.

Love this collar! It is perfect for my Bernedoodle. Do measure for correct fit. We bought a 5 , could have probably used a 4 but this one is great! I love the color. The quality it’s amazing! I will definitely buy from here again💕

High Quality Material
As a fellow small business owner, it makes me so happy to see these guys crushing it! These collars are high quality material that won’t wear down. And you know how hard it is to find metal buckles?! My wolfdog just turns 8 months old and he is about 95 pounds. The handle is so helpful to guide him. This is the only collar he doesn’t try to scratch off so he must find it comfortable!
