    Lots of inaccurate information….
    I’m surprised this author hasn’t been sued. So much inaccurate information. Obviously she knows nothing of current studies: Current studies show there is no evidence that a high protein diet causes Kidney damage to otherwise healthy kidneys, (she states in her book that eating too much protein does, – pg 22). She also states that a High Protein Diet causes bone loss (pg 22)…current studies say “there is no evidence of this.” She says the body can produce all the carbohydrates it needs on its own (pg 21)…well, sort of, but this is a very complicate internal process called gluconeogenesis, which the author didn’t bother to explain. And then there is the type-o on pg 31. I hope she will do her due diligence and home work before she attempts to write another book.

    Nancy gets right to the point , with the why , how’s and what of the low carb diet. She points out the best low carb sources and lets you decide with sample menus. Great little book .

    Waste of $4
    There is nothing truly pertinent in this book. It’s perhaps useful to someone who lived under a rock. Seriously, the pic is one full page and they are all like this. I could see this as a beneficial guide for children learning about nutrition.

    -Brief and to the point.-practical easy guidance-Need not count calories.Suggest less meat and more plant based. Grass fed unprocessed meat is ideal. Needs greater emphasis on shell fish- Prawns, Crabs, Lobsters and shrimps.
