Read carefully to ensure that you get the proper size collar.
The collar itself is fine, it appears to be well made, and the buckle seams to engage solidly. The collar is obviously rechargeable with the USB plug, and is fairly easy to get to, however you must partially remove the control unit from its pouch, a simple process. I have an older dog that can sometimes have a tendency to wander a little further than he should at night, and this collar allows me to instantly see where he is in our yard or the neighborhood. The remote is a nice feature but I mainly use it to select which of the bright and colorful lights I want to display on the collar. Neither my dog nor myself are slaves to fashion, and neither one of us really cares what color is displayed, but it is a fun option that helps to fight the boredom of the same old thing night in and night out. I don’t really have any complaints about the collar, but I do feel I should point out that it is very easy to get the wrong size. I was fortunate that the one I ordered fit my dog, but with no room to spare. Read the listing very carefully because it appears as though the collar will fit small, medium, or large dogs as it states in the heading. I assumed that there was enough adjustment to fit those sizes. It’s not until you get about halfway through the multiple pages on the listing, that you come to some graphics that actually are where you select the proper collar size. It’s not meant to be deceptive, it’s just extremely confusing. As long as you look very carefully you’ll be able to order the size required for your particular dog. So choose carefully, and then go light up the night!

LED light are bright, the remote is a nice accessory for evening walks
The LED dog collar is made with thick webbing and a sturdy clasp that should hold up well over time. The LED lights are very bright by default, though the remote does include a adjustment buttons to lower the light output for longer battery life. Each LED only shines in a single color and there are three colors total (red, green and blue). The collar mode options include turning on all of the LED lights, two colors or a single color. Of course single color turns on only 1/3 of the LED lights, which leaves much of the collar unlit.The battery is not very large and if all LEDs are turned on at maximum intensity, it will run out of power after a few hours. On the other hand, single color LED at low intensity will run for a very long time. It is nice to have the option to choose, but ideally the battery would be large enough to run longer at higher illumination (after all the main purpose of the collar is to make your dog more visible during evening walks).All of the functions on the remote (aside from dimming LED output) can also be chosen using just the power button on the collar. A long press turns the collar off, short press cycles through light modes. Most likely the remote will eventually be lost, so having full control without it is important. However, it is nice to have the remote during evening walks. That way the collar can be turned off to save battery power when there is plenty of daylight, then easily turned on as darkness falls.

Be VERY careful about sizing when ordering!
I ordered what I thought was a collar that would fit my medium sized (45-50 lbs-ish) mutt. The product description says “M-L” and I really didn’t see any other sizing chart. Pretty sure I clicked medium at checkout.What I received was collar marked “S” that is about 14″ long and the only wiggle room for length adjustment is *maybe* about half an inch due to the electronic elements embedded in the collar.Overall, I really like the idea of this product, but it fell short in functionality. I really need at least another 4″ for it to be fit my pup. However, the lights are bright and have several different color settings, from solid blue, green, red to “sparkle”/flashing. There are about 4 different settings for bright/dim…but even the lowest setting is pretty darn bright. The remote control is easy to operate and makes it handy for on-the-fly adjustments.The lighted collar is pretty bulky for small/medium dogs IMHO. It’s 1″ wide and about 3x as thick as the nylon fabric collar my pup wears everyday (which is 3/4” wide). I’ve included a photo of the two side by side so you can see the difference.Overall, I think this would be good for most upper end medium to large breed dogs if you can get the sizing right when ordering. If you’ve got a Yorkie (or similarly small pup), you might look elsewhere.

I tried to upload a video but it wouldn’t work….the collar is very bright and flashy, weather you select a solid or flashy color, the strap fits great on him and the right size because that’s the most adjusted it will get around his neck. The quality is perfect for the value of money that was spent on it. Overall amazing collar! (It’s all rechargeable)

Nice Idea, but Falls Short in Brightness and Battery Life
I really wanted to love this light-up dog collar because the concept is great — keeping your pet visible during nighttime walks is a smart and simple safety feature. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The collar looks fine out of the box and fits comfortably on my dog, but once I turned it on, I was immediately underwhelmed. The lights are very dim, even in complete darkness, and they’re barely noticeable if there’s any other light around.Another disappointment is that it only offers two colors — red and green — which limits visibility options. I was hoping for something a bit more customizable or at least a brighter, more consistent glow. It’s hard to tell from a distance whether the lights are even on, which defeats the purpose of having it.The battery life is also pretty poor. After just a couple of short evening walks, it started to fade noticeably, and recharging didn’t seem to help much. It’s a shame because the idea is solid and the fit is good, but it just doesn’t perform well enough to be practical.Overall, I’d call it a good concept with poor follow-through. I had high hopes, but for the price, there are better, brighter options out there.
