Dog Collar lights up the night.
This LED dog collar is nice for walks at night. Bright enough to light up what’s in front of doggie, so you can keep an eye on what he’s sniffing. Lots of different light colors/modes to fit your mood. You can also control the light intensity, but I found the adjustments from lowest to highest to be insignificant. Build quality seems decent – leash ring and buckle are as sturdy as the typical collar. There’s a plastic mesh that covers the LED strip to help protect them. I can’t say how water resistant this is, but it seems like it would at least hold up in light rain. Rechargeable battery is a nice feature to have as it saves you from the all the battery changes that were required by earlier generations of light up collars. I didn’t test the limits of the battery, but I can say that after fully recharging the battery and two weeks of using the collar for every night walk, I still haven’t had to recharge it yet.The light modes can be controlled by either a single button on the control box attached to the collar or by a separate included wireless remote. The remote is a nice extra, but it’s not as useful for me – if you turn the collar off, after about 10 minutes, you can’t control it with the remote anymore and have to manually turn it on from the collar’s control box. You also can’t turn it on with the remote if you last turned the collar off using the power button on the collar. Because of these issues, I find that I don’t use the remote much at all.Pros:RechargeableMany different light settingsCould use improvement:Remote is not as useful as I would have hoped

Great collar for dog park at night!
This is an excellent collar. I purchased the large for my 100lb golden retriever. It fits and can be easily adjusted for a larger dog. I appreciate that it’s a strong collar that I can connect a leash to. I put his tags on this collar, and he will wear it full-time until sunset later in the evening. I like not having to remember to grab an extra collar.The remote control allows you to turn the brightness up or down. A feature I appreciate after the glaring brightness of our last LED collar. I can turn it down when he is on a leash or make it brighter when he’s off-leash. I can easily see him from across the field at the dog park.I love having the remote, but I wish that I could turn the collar on with it at any time. I know that isn’t very clear.To control the collar with the remote, you must first turn it on manually by pressing the button on the collar. Once it’s been turned on, it can be controlled (on/off, brightness, modes, colors) from the remote. Being able to control the color from a distance is great when there have been other dogs with the same color LED colors all running and playing together.The charging cable is micro USB. I wish it were a C cable, but this works.

No size chart, so you have to guess how big S, M, and L are
There were no inches given in the product description. I got one that was listed as M-L, and it is too small for my dogs. I would say it is more M-S. The largest I could get it to open is 17”, and the smallest was 15”. It’s possible with a lot of manipulation one could get it smaller than that, but I wouldn’t depend on it.As for functionality, it’s a cool collar with more features than the three dependable LED collars and leashes I’ve been using forever. The remote is a nice feature, being able to turn it on as night falls without bending over and hunting for the switch on the collar on the dog. That’s also good for making it brighter as night gets darker or resetting your preferred colors and flashing if they get accidentally changed during the walk — although the button placement would probably keep that from happening. Since I just got mine and won’t be using it anyhow, I don’t know how long they go without recharging or no longer working.I was tempted to give the collar a three-star rating for the product description’s saying to be sure to refer to the size chart and then not giving a size chart nor sizing information, but the product itself is possibly worth five stars, so I compromised on 4.
