This is a wonderful playhouse for cats.And for small dogs. It is sturdy yetSoft on the sides and base. My puppy loves hiding her things in it. It stays where you put it and if they decide to get up on it, you can just pull up on the top fuzzy ball and it pops right up. It costs a little more.But in terms of lasting and function, it’s worth the money
