the cat likes it too
it’s roomy enough to allow him to hang out without being cramped, even when it’s not fully open. he crawls into it at home, so he loves it. it’s also sturdy and it’s comfortable carrying or as a backpack.

Great quality. It’s exactly what we wanted. Jasper loves being able to go out with us now. It has lots of room and is very comfortable for him too! The bag is very light weight too so it doesn’t make it too heavy to carry with him in it!

Poor zipper quality throughout. Zipper might separate.
I returned this due to the poor quality of the zippers AND how the plastic shell attached. The zippers are tabs are cheap. When trying to attach the plastic piece it’s a struggle to get the zipper to catch. The zipper split open on several occasions. Once you get the plastic piece zippered on, as you zipper your way around and get to the very bottom there is a design flaw. You end up bumping in to the beginning. You can’t go under the beginning because there is not enough space for the zipper to go underneath. So, you end up just ending to the left of the beginning. That leaves and opening under the zipper which could force the zipper to re-open and then you cat falls through the bottom.I’ve attached a video to demonstrate my concerns with the zipper.My other concern was having proper ventilation once my kitten was inside. There is a zip out ventilation section which is good but plastic does retain a lot of heat so I wouldn’t be using this on a hot summer day.

My kitty enjoys the carrier so much I find her in it all the time, only thing is I do think the front plastic will get scratched up over time.

Great cat carrier
I have 3 cats and I think it’s important to have enough carriers for each one in case we have to evacuate for a hurricane or something. Last year, we actually did have to evacuate for Helene and unfortunately my newest cat carrier I had purchased (because it was cute and looked like the Scooby doo mystery machine) turned out to be a terrible decision. It wasn’t big enough for my cat and it didn’t stand up straight, it kept collapsing on itself, so he was miserable the whole time and he peed in the carrier which only had cardboard in the liner.This backpack carrier is much larger! Especially when unzipped and folded out to the max size, and as he is my most social cat, I think he’ll feel more comfortable being able to see more of his surroundings. Plus, the removable base of the carrier has a zipper on it with a removable foam and corrugated plastic layer inside, which would hold up MUCH better if your cat had an accident in the carrier and needed to be washed. I feel much better going into this hurricane season knowing I have a more comfortable and safer option to transport my cat if needed, and knowing that I could wear this one like a back pack my other hands would be free to carry the other 2 carriers if I desperately needed to be able to transport all 3 at once.The only part I had a bit of trouble with during set up was getting the plastic front zipped onto the backpack, but once you get it on you never have to take that part off. It was just a matter of getting the zipper in in the first place, once you can get it started it’s easy from there on out.
