We loved everything about this collar and bought it for a musical festival (EDC) as a way to light up our look. Before purchasing, I reached out to Glowseen’s Customer Service to see if it would be safe for people too, and if it would hold up with sweating or the possibility of rain without getting damaged. I received an incredibly fast response from a warm and happy person named Julia who quickly informed me that it would be safe for anyone, animal or human, to wear. She even suggested that I could cut it to fit me first and then cut it again to my dog after I was done with it if I didn’t want to wear it again, so I loved that I could use it for both purposes.I ended up choosing the version without the design so that it wouldn’t look like a dog collar when worn by a person. Honestly, I loved this collar as soon as I opened it. It’s sturdy, super bright, has a fantastic range of colors/styles/effects compared to other brands and it was very easy to use. Just to be sure I was buying the right collar for my tastes, I ordered from this brand and also from a competitor. And let me just tell you – there was a clear difference and the Glowseen was by far the superior product. The other brand’s version was an INSTANT disappointment – the lights were so dim and they weren’t level throughout the collar. Their package was also inferior and the plug inlet was on the outside making it visible while wearing it. Sure, it was thinner, but that’s because they used a thin copper string of lights which also meant that the brightness was low and the lights moved within the collar sleeve (so they weren’t in a straight line). Yuck!But when I opened this Glowseen package, it was an INSTANT YES. This product was notably thicker than the other brand, but I quickly saw why. When I cut it to fit me, I saw the lights inside the collar, which was like a high-end thick set of LED lights that I would expect to see behind a mounted TV or under cabinet wiring. It was super-light, but super bright and still very flexible.The collar material itself is a little firm when you first open it, but it did mold more to the shape of my head after the first wear – honestly there was no issue with this at all, it just looks a little less round when you first open it because of how it is packaged. That was part of the reason I chose to wear it on my head instead of around my neck.It comes in a nice package with information and instructions on how to cut it. The collar itself has a scissor icon on the side where you can cut it to size without damaging it (I turned it on so I could make sure I didn’t cut one of the lights as you want to cut it between the lights instead). It comes in a very large size so that it will work for pet and human applications, so to size it, you’ll just unlatched the connectors, wrap it around your neck or head and use your fingers to mark where you will cut it. Turn it on to make sure you don’t cut a light in half and then replace the connected end to the shorted collar. And that’s it!I ended up choosing my head because it was SERIOUSLY so comfortable there. I didn’t get a headache or feel any pressure from wearing this for 8+hours a day, which I’m prone to getting when something doesn’t fit right… but that was never a problem with this collar. I wore it like a crown and used the multi-light function for most of the event.I tested out both the fully-lit rainbow and the lower-light rainbow that rotates around the collar. The fully-lit run time lasted me about 4.5 hours and the lower-light run time was about 5.5 hours, both of continuous use. Charge time was about 60-90 minutes (I wasn’t paying close attention to the charge time but I came back after 90 minutes and it was ready to go again). I love that the charging inlet is hidden inside the connector so that it keeps the outlook looking cleaner, and it had a sturdy connection each time I charged it so I could trust that it was charging (it also has a faint red light to indicate when the collar is still charging so you don’t have to guess).Overall, it was a hit. We got constant compliments and plan to use them for more events in the very near future. We even ordered another one for the dog because we like ours too much to share! Highly recommend this and I hope you get it and have a blast showing it off!

UPDATE: One important detail I wanted to add to my original review: MAKE SURE TO CHARGE THE COLLAR USING THE INCLUDED USB-C CABLE. At first I tried using the same cable that I use to charge my phone, and I discovered that it wasn’t properly charging the collar (I’m guessing because it delivers too much power?). Once I switched to the provided cable, problem solved.I spent A LOT of time researching the many LED collars out there, but I ended up picking this one for two main reasons:1. It has multiple colors and modes, so it’s like having many collars in one. (The pink/purple color looks great on my shepherd mix and is a personal favorite.)2. It was one of the few options with USB-C charging.After using the collar for over 8 months, I can honestly say I’m really happy with my choice. The collar is extremely bright (clearly brighter than the other illuminated collars I see around town), which makes it easy to spot my dog even from considerable distances.I get compliments on the collar almost daily (seriously), and many fellow dog owners have even asked me to show them this collar’s exact product page on Amazon so they can order their own. Build quality seems to be another highlight, as there is no visible damage or noteworthy wear and tear despite lots of spirited play with other dogs. Long story short, I highly recommend this LED collar.

Got one, worked shortly then failed.However, contacted the company and I had a quick response. A new dog collar was shipped out to with a kind note.Charged the collar and trimmed it, I folded it back instead of cutting it and off we went in the early hours of the winter morning.Happy to report back that it works excellent and very pleased with the product and especially impressed by the service and communication I received.We are getting a lot of positive feedback from other dog walkers. We have bit of fun with different colours.What I like about it, it’s bright and colourful but not so bright that you can’t look at the dog when walking. I meant to take a photo, I’ll do that on our next walk.Highly recommended

Adjustable so we were able to easily cut to fit our dog. He isn’t fased by it at all, and the colours are great, so many to choose from. Seems to hold charge pretty well too, have only charged it once and used it for 10 hours or so

The led collar is great for my long haired German shepherd at night because the led lights are very bright and can been seen easily 50 metres away through his long hair, the existing size is perfect for my dog, it just slips over his head and stays put the entire time, the size can be adjusted for smaller dogs.Many different led collar options to choose from and I found the battery lasted a long time, I was charging it once a week after two or three 45 minute walks in the mornings, the battery didn’t go flat, I just charged it once a week to avoid the batteries going flat during a walk.Unfortunately, after two weeks the collar developed a fault and then wouldn’t work at all. I contacted the customer support through the advised email address in the instructions and they were great! They replied to my email immediately and sent two replacement collars out approximately 1 week later. After charging one of the collars up last night I used it this morning and it’s great, hopefully the original collar was a one of faulty collar and the new replacement collar will prove to be reliable.
