HOLY SMOKES! My dog is short hair, but sheds a LOT. I finally got around to using this and the amount of not just surface hair, but deep embeded hair that came out was nothing short of astonishing. GET THIS! It is wonderful. My dog had no issues with it and it was gentle on his skin. My cat LOVED it (but he loves being brushed in general).

If you have a siberian or any thick/double coated dog this is perfect. You dont need an expensive brush, Get you a simple brush like this.I thought there was something wrong because i could never pull more than a handfull of fur off of my dog. Now that i have this brush, I’ve gotten more than ever.Durable yet cheap. Easy to use and great at removing fur

The “English” used is a joke. This is noted as a “Faded Comb” not a deshedding comb. The handle broke free from comb bracket. This was easily repaired with superglue. I guess that this was a corner cut in the assembly process.The metal comb itself appears well made and my dog loved the comb. My dog didn’t fade.

This was delivered today and I tried it right away. I have 2 short haired cats and I was amazed at how much fur came off, the cats seemed to enjoy it, it doesn’t pull and as I said I just couldn’t believe how much actually came off, probably enough to to stuff a small cushion. I think this is a must for grooming especially at this time of year and it will stop fur ending up in the stomach and avoid a big vet bill if things get stuck. Well worth the low price.

This comb is in two pieces that snap into place for easy cleaning when necessary.It’s light & comfortable to hold. The teeth are shallow so I think is best for short & semi long hair cat. Don’t have a dog,I assume the same applies.You can get to the skin to remove scurf particularly along the back to tailMy cats don’t object to it at all.I have a much larger similar style brush/comb for removing dead undercoat when they’re moulting,which can take some time.This comb is useful as you can go over loose hair fairly quickly.Also is good for face – especially throat & chin area. Can deffo recommend.Am fortunate in that none of my cats have coat that tangles easily – I’ve always used a flat comb to take out any rare mats.Then this new item will give a tidy finish to the coat.So yep, is inexpensive and worth trying.

I’ve just received this grooming comb, its super simple to use & it works. Chloe loved being groomed, so much dead hair was removed that now won’t become hairballs & end up on my carpets. Yes granted, she’s a cat & hairballs are a given but this will help reduce them. I’m super happy with this comb, well worth the price & Chloe’s purrs tells me that she loves it too.

Pros: My dog really enjoyed it, it was easy to clean, got a lot of hair off, gave her coat a nice shine, it glided through but she doesn’t have any matts or tangles anyway so it’s not a fair assessment.Cons: Really small my dog is a pug and it was small for her so larger dog breeds would be more difficult, not quite thick enough to get through a double coat.
