Keep your pets healthy and clean with the removal of bacterial and fungal conditions with Ketohex Shampoo. This is a specialized veterinary formula shampoo for use on dogs, cats, and horses, and is useful for managing skin conditions that may arise from infections. Pleasantly fragranced, this 16 oz shampoo contains both Ketoconazole 1% and Chlorhexidine 2%. It’s specially designed to be antiseptic and is used in situations to help clean potentially injured or neglected animals.
WHEN TO USE:
Designed for topical use on dogs, cats, and horses to treat skin conditions that are responsive to chlorhexidine and ketoconazole. External use only.
DIRECTIONS:
Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. May be used initially 2 to 3 times a week for 4 weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.
PRECAUTIONS:
Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after use. For external use on dogs and cats only. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. If skin irritation occurs or increases, discontinue use and consult with your veterinarian.

hands down the best I’ve used
This stuff is pure magic. When we got our rescue dork, who was a former stray, he had all sorts of skin (& other) issues, including sarcoptic mange. While we were on the road to curing his maladies & skin, I used this shampoo full strength. Once his skin & coat were balanced & normal, I switched to using it diluted with water. I use it for every bath, about every 3-4 weeks. It smells and lathers wonderfully, washes out well, and leaves the skin & coat very clean, shiny, and silky. It’s a game changer in a bottle! I recommend it on all the dog social groups I’m on & to all my dog owning friends – it’s that good.I tried another brand that had the same ratios of ketoconazole & chlorhexidine but the outcome wasn’t as good – results weren’t as soft, clean, silky, & good smelling. Came right back to this exact formulation! Love it. By far the best dog shampoo I’ve used over decades of dog ownership!

Purchase This Immediately if Your Pet Suffers From Allergies
Best Shampoo EVER! It clears up the yeast on my dog so well and he smells great afterwards. I’ve purchased it numerous times at my vet office, but they don’t have bottles this size. If your dog suffers from allergies and yeast build up this is a MUST and so much cheaper than monthly cytopoint shots. My vet recommended using it once or twice a week and leaving it on for 10 minutes depending on my Yorkers skin condition.

Don’t waist your money
This is a very pricey Shampoo that Smells great. The Effectiveness I honestly don’t see the difference between this one at $30.00 bucks and the one I got for $5.00 bucks. My poor guy still scratches as soon as he is out of the tub and I check him for flea’s and there is none. It says it’s great for Skin moisture and the Effectiveness is supposed to stop his Irritation but it hasn’t. This is after we’ve been using it for three weeks now and no change. His coat is as Soft as if using the cheaper brand so the Product Quality is not like they claim it to be

I have used this for several years with not side effects. It seems to work in reducing irritation and healing wounds. It has just a faint medical smell. Remember to shake it well before use.
