AWESOME Collar – very bright and colorful. I got the green one…
love it. The first one I received wouldn’t work, so I reached out to Illumiseen and they immediately sent me another one. That one has worked like a charm. We now have about 7 dogs walking around the neighborhood at night w/them on too.I’m equally impressed w/their customer service. They worked w/me on the first one and about 2 weeks ago I went to charge the collar and it didn’t charge. I ordered another one but wrote them to say if this one went bad too, I would be writing a poor review. Much to my amazement, they reached out and they were going to send me a replacement because they took customer service very serious. In the end, we realized the power strip was unplugged and it wasn’t the collar, so I had to reach back to them and explain it was my fault and to cancel the replacement. But that says sooooo much for the company. I’d highly recommend it.Update 10/20…I have purchased at least 6 of these collars over the past 4 years. Two, well three now, for my dog, and then some for my friends when they have gotten their dogs. The very first one I got a charging problem. I wrote an unfavorable comment on their website and they immediately reached out to me to understand the problem. When I explained what had happened, they replaced it for me free of charge. I have had that collar for 4 years and it just died last week! That is a much longer time than I expected. When I ordered the replacement for that one, it too had a charging problem. Only this time I reached out to the mfgr directly and they were wonderful about replacing it too. The other 4 I have worked great, no problem with any of them. Bottom line is I think they are very reliable collars, very bright and they stay charged for a very long time, and the best part is last a long time. And their customer service is great if you have a problem, they work w/you!

Best collar for taking dog out in the dark!
For the past few yrs, I used a non-rechargeable LED collar when taking my dog out for exercise or to heed nature’s call in the dark. I felt that my dog was much safer with a lit-up collar but my previous one had a # of inconveniences. Among the great features of the Illumiseen LED dog collar that make it SO much easier to use is the fact that is incredibly easy to recharge. No more struggling to get a battery pack open using a tiny screwdriver each time; no more guessing about when it is fully charged; no more need to buy batteries almost each week; and no more struggle with pressing on the battery pack just right so it actually lights up. When you need to recharge the Illumiseen, it is just as easy– or easier than– recharging your mobile phone. And, when the collar stops lightly glowing when plugged in, you know it is done recharging and you are ready to go! I like the wide color selection offered and that it also has a stronger glow/ is even easier to see my dog when he wears it than any of the others I used before. I highly recommend this product for use with your dog and only wish I had purchased this collar a long time ago! I was constantly buying batteries and struggling to replace them in previous LED collars I used. And, the frequent opening and closing of the battery compartment in those non-rechargeable collars meant that the contact between the battery and other pieces inside seemed to worsen over time. Before switching to the Illumiseen brand, pressing the “on” button on the old collar meant pushing on the battery compartment super hard and in just the right way to get the battery to make contact properly with the metal inside so the LED light would turn on. But, not with the Illumiseen!! The collar turns on any one of the three light patterns with light pressure, making it so easy to turn on while outside, in the midst of exercising my dog, as the sun begins sinking in the sky and it becomes darker outside. Very bright well made collar!
We got this collar in blue. I charged it up and it worked exactly as the instructions noted. It’s bright! It seemed to get brighter after using it a couple times.It was -21 deg F the first time I put it on her. We were out for about 20 minutes. Then in the evening we tried it again and it quit after about 20 minutes. I can’t fault it for this.I ordered this based on the length of Samantha’s nylon flat collar. I think this is incorrect. Doing it again I’d use the distance between the center of the buckle and the hole used. As it turned out our collar is a good three to four inches too long. We use multiple collars so for now I just use it over the nylon collar and training collar. It rides on Sam’s outer fur so it really lights up the walking path!.I sent an email and pictures to customer support and got a very quick reply. We are not done yet but I’m confident a solution will come.This collar is much brighter than others in our area. It’s well made and the LED wires are protected. The battery box is too big but well protected and easy to access. We just used it for several hours in +20-30 degF weather and it was still going strong so in warmer weather it will go for many hours. It’s easy and charges in half an hour even from dead.Over all a great product. Just be careful about size. I found it hard to adjust. Customer support said it was ok to slide the LED section thru the buckle but I work with LED things and wires are fragil. I’m not comfortable with this.I’d recommend this collar to anyone.

The collar is well made, but initially a bit stiff. The LED lights inside the collar will bend to allow proper sizing with gentle pressure and patience. The royal blue collar is bright enough to provide visibility at distance (~100M) but not so bright as to annoy my dog. The collar gets partially buried in my dogs thick, long coat, but the collar is still visible through her fur. Charging is easy and convenient.

I’ve had this collar for over 3 years now and it’s used several times a week for up to 2.5 hours at a time. It’s still great – waterproof, charge lasts several walks and light is bright. I bought a different brand this year to try and I wish I’d gone with this one again. The newer Feycig collar has a trickier charging port in the collar and the charge doesn’t last NEARLY as long. I prefer this collar’s charging port, charge duration and durability. I do NOT use either of these collars attached to leash – I’m not convinced they’d be strong enough and I prefer harnesses for walking my dogs. I use them purely for visibility.
