It’s hard to review a product that claims to be calming, because sometimes that is a subjective condition and hard to quantify in an animal who can’t verbalize how they feel. And with fur babies, how can you really tell if they feel more calm? The dogs enjoy them for a treat, and I’ll give them to them when I put them in the crate when I leave the house so they can work their magic. Do they feel calmer? I have Jack Russell Terriers which are known to be quite energetic. They seem to not bounce off the walls as much when providing them with this treat. The smell isn’t objectionable and they’re are a good size for a dog treat. They come in a package of two containers and are a good value for the money.

Really helps to calm my dogs
These treats really came in handy during a period of thunderstorms we had. One of my dogs gets really anxious with storms so I gave her the recommended amount for her weight and within about 30 minutes she seemed much calmer. They worked well on my other dog when she was anxious about going to the vet.

These are great value for money as you get 2 tubs. I have tried many different calming products for my over anxious chihuhua and they have all had little effect but these appear to reduce his anxiety a little (to date) although we haven’t used them for long, I will continue using these in the hope they will reduce it even further over time. He can be a little picky but loves these and will happily eat it when offered so that is a huge bonus too. These are definitely worth a try

Having tried other dog calming tablets with limited success, I was happy to try something new on my dog. She has suffered with separation anxiety on and off over the years and is always overly excitable when we have visitors. These chews offer a slightly different list of ingredients compared to others I’ve bought and definitely have a calming effect on my dog. However, I’m still a bit confused as to whether or not these should be given daily or 30 minutes before a known anxiety trigger. My plan is to give a few days prior to an event (e.g., before Guy Fawkes, New Year’s Eve, etc.) but then revert to only giving on days when I know she’ll be left for a little while or if we’re expecting visitors.
