What?? This is so cheap and works so much better than any straightener I’ve owned. Here’s the big caveat… you have very little control over the ends of your hair.I’ve owned Solia, Chi, am currently using the white T3… my hair has never been easier to straighten or as straight on the top of my head. You don’t get the wavy crimp lines from a flat straightener because this thing basically combs into your hair and straightens from the root out an inch so there is no way to have a crimp line. I am blown away by how shiny my hair looks. And it was crazy easy. Took no effort. In fact, you almost have to use bigger sections with this tool than with a flat iron straightener.Okay so here’s the snag, and you can tell just by watching any video of someone using it. You need to hold pressure on your hair to hold it inside of the tool, so when you get to the ends and have to let go, there is no way to really control the ends. I was able to hold my hair until the last little bit slipped from my fingers and I managed to curl the ends under. The finished look is great. But if I wanted it to be stick straight all the way to the end, not curled under at all, that would be a little harder.Does this replace a flat iron? No. I often straighten just the ends of my hair after curling it, and I could not do that with this tool. However, this thing is waay faster and easier and makes my hair shinier and smoother than a flat iron.The heat up time is slow. At first just the top blue light was blinking and I thought that meant it was warming up. Nope. You need to hit the power button (again?). The blinking blue light apparently just shows you it’s plugged in. Once you hit the power button, the white lights will indicate the power/heat level and the top blinking white light will become solid once it’s done heating. It took maybe 30 sec – 1 min longer than my usual flat iron heat up time.Safety/fire prevention… so this thing would be harder to burn yourself on for sure. Also, the actual hot plates don’t touch your counter or anything other than your hair because the guards block them. The back of the tool is flat. It DOES get HOT, but touchably hot. It might melt plastic carpeting. But I have no concerns with setting the flat backside directly on my counter, which means I no longer have to balance a straighener on its case or a hot pad.I am just in shock… I didn’t expect this cheap thing to work so well. I literally just bought a dyson airwrap after years of wanting one and am not nearly as blown away with it.This would be a great gift for anyone into beauty or hair because it’s not a common device to own and works amazing and is relatively inexpensive.So glad I tried it.

It allows me to work with larger sections of hair, significantly speeding up the straightening process (usually around an hour, give or take a few minutes). To get the best results, I always start by blow-drying my hair. I haven’t tried straightening my hair without pre-blow-drying it, mainly because I live in a very humid area and rely on humidity control products like “WOW” to combat frizz.The only challenge I haven’t quite mastered is getting my ends as straight as the rest of my hair. Admittedly, I’m due for a trim. I still have to use my flat iron on my ends to make them look nice. To ensure a smooth finish, I use a brush to chase both the straightener and flat iron, as I’ve found this technique delivers the best results, especially for my damaged ends.Occasionally, I’ve experienced the straightener shutting off when I accidentally hit the button. However, overall, it’s well-designed, not too heavy, and comfortable to hold. It’s worth noting that the back of the straightener does get quite warm, although not hot enough to cause damage or discomfort—just enough to be noticeable.As a tip, I like to approach straightening from different angles to ensure that all my curls are properly straightened. This means working under the section, above the section, and sometimes on one side of the section, depending on where I’m working on my head. Additionally, I don’t use the highest heat setting to avoid potential heat damage, yet it still manages to leave my hair bone straight.Here’s why I’m loving it:Pros:1. Efficient Styling: As someone with naturally curly hair, I was initially skeptical about whether the TYMO Ring could replace my flat iron. While it doesn’t give me pin-straight hair like a flat iron, it delivers a fantastic blow-dry look that I adore. It’s a time-saver, and I can effortlessly achieve a sleek and stylish appearance.2. Silky Smooth Hair: Using the TYMO Ring leaves my hair incredibly soft to the touch. My husband even commented on how my hair shines after using it, which is a huge confidence booster.3. I have long thick hair and this does an incredible job of taming the frizz and giving me a sleek polished look. It even lasted for 5 days. It leaves my hair looking as sleek as if a professional stylist had done it. it was Very nice and handy. Easy to use. the iron is wonderful, and the heat level is wonderful as well. I recommended to my family and friends and they thank me for introducing them to the tymo hair straightener cause now they can save money for not going to the hair salon and wait hours just to get their hair done.

This was really awesome to use!. I have pretty straight hair with a little curl. Mainly it’s a bit frizzy. This made it look so much better and straightens nicely. Idk if I’d be help to someone with really curly hair. This right off the box got hot within 5 minutes!. The directions were extremely helpful and easy!. It did an amazing job for me. And it took me 1/3 of the time it does it a regular straightener!Also in the directions it says NOT to use heat protectors or any chemical that’s my only complaint but I do understand. It’s cheaper than getting it professionally done! Also gives you the extra supplies to help keep ur hand protected and clips!. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made!

At first I was very skeptical about buying it or not as the price was also higher than other straightening brushes bt when I used it I realised it’s a magical product it straights in one pass and the quality is also very good for thick hair it also works wonders and the hair stays that way until u wah the second time it’s total value for money and very easy to use
