Excellent leash
This leash has worked very well for us. We used it all summer and had no issues of wearing. It was helpful for working on recall for our puppy. It retracts, locks, and unlocks very easily and I think it’s comfortable to hold.We did find we needed to be cautious because there was one instance our puppy started running and I got a rope burn across my leg while my boyfriend was holding the leash. We’ve been able to avoid that since it happened, we just needed to get used to how to use the leash

Strong with an easy-to-use locking mechanism that just works
Before this, I’d tried my luck with a less expensive product that turned out to be a waste of time, if not money. I returned that product after having given it a fair shot for about a week, having been convinced in the end that it was just no good. As soon as I had this leash in my hands, I knew immediately the quality was much higher. I put it to work right away on a nice, long walk with my dog, who is still a puppy with lots of energy and very strong.The retraction mechanism worked perfectly, and the guide where the tape reels in and out did a good job of making sure it didn’t get tangled, but the best part was the locking mechanism. I think that’s the weak spot in the less expensive knock-offs, but in this leash, it worked flawlessly every time. It locks and unlocks easily, and will stay locked when you press the switch to engage that.This leash is a bit heavier than others I’ve tried, but in a good way. It does not feel flimsy or cheap at all. Everything works smoothly, and it feels quite strong. Time will tell, but I think this will be something that will last, even with an eager and strong puppy pulling on it when she sees a squirrel.

The best leash there is
I have been using this leash for over ten years. It is durable and works as good as new after years of use. My springers can get pretty excited when they get the right stimulus and the leash is plenty strong. The spring that retrieves the tape is also sturdy and you get almost instant recoil. The locking mechanism is strong and easy to use. I have bought three of these over the years and wouldn’t buy any other.

Good product, just too small…
I purchased the XS retractable leash for my 10 lb Papillion/Dachshund mix. The quality is good, price was great & the pink color is really cute.The Pros: It’s compact, lite weight, & durable. It uses a round leash line, instead of the flat ribbon version. The ribbon version twists & gets caught up when it reels back in. The round version works much smoother & never binds up.The Cons: The length of the leash line is about 5-6 feet. Not much longer then a standard nylon leash. Which kinda of negates the purpose of using a retractable leash.Secondly, it’s soo small that I can only fit three fingers into the handle grip, instead of all four which gives you a better more comfortable grip.The first time I used this leash was quite traumatic. Luckily we just left the house & were in my front yard, plus we didn’t expect the line to be so short. As soon as she ran out & the leash extended out its total 6 feet it jerked her back & because neither of us expected that she kept running & snatched the leash right out of my uncomfortable three finger grip. The leash hit the ground, retracted itself along the ride & flew up & hit her in the butt. Luckily she stopped but was standing like a deer in the middle of the road. I was able to approach her & scoop her up before any cars came along. Luckily a happy ending. My dog is a rescue dog & unfortunately she had a long, abusive life before coming to live with me. So these lil normal events to most are fearful reminders of her past.Needless to say I returned this leash, got a full refund & learned some valuable lessons. Read product descriptions thoroughly & test everything out before using it on her.Overall this is a good product. If you have a teeny tiny dog that you want on a short leash & you have tiny hands.

Nice Leash for my Cat
Nice leash for my bigger cat. I’ve had it for a while. Zero complaints. It locks well and is light weight. Nice amount of retractable leash.

Break works great!
Sturdy and well made. This was a replacement for my previous flexi leash that still works but has been beat up after 5 years of my 74 lb dog running after squirrels. The break works incredibly well. Locks easily. Nice size. Easy to hold. Only small complaint is that you can get a much better grip on my old one and this one is very slick. I do like the option to add a flashlight and/or accessory. The length is also great.

Excellent product—sturdy, well-made, and feels reliable and high-quality!It works perfectly for our 10 kg, very energetic, 7-month-old Shiba Inu. I chose the larger size just to be safe in case he suddenly runs after something and gets stopped by the rope—I didn’t want it to break.The retracting mechanism works smoothly, and it returns on its own very easily. Purchased also Flexi 25210783: Multi Box Blk and it fist perfectly! I’m very glad I chose this product!

Bought this in January of 2021 for our 75lb lab. It is very well made and puts up with a LOT of abuse. Nice long leash and handy locking mechanism.Our dog can be a good puller when he meets another dog and I have had no concerns or problems with this leash. I have even bought an additional one for when we are taking care of our daughter’s retriever.With 2 walks a day, this leash has had a lot of use! It finally gave out last night as the spring broke inside it and it will no longer retract.I am quite happy with getting just under 4 years out of this leash and will be ordering another one!Highly recommended!
