Fera Pets saves 4, give it time to work.
We have four cats that ranged in age from 6 months to 22 years old when we began using this product. After using two different medications for treating the coccidia a new kitten probably brought in, all of the cats had such bad diarrhea, we were literally sponging it off of the walls. We’re talking gross gas, anal leakage and bowel movements so smelly, my wife would just cover her mouth and leave the room . It was probably about as bad as it can get. We were feeling pretty broke after all of the vet visits and treatments and chose Fera Pets based on the cost being lower even though other products were more studied and more recommended by veterinarians . Remember, our cost is/was x 4. It took more than a month to notice any difference, but all of our cats have returned to perfect health and we are just finishing our 3rd jar. I think it’s important for people to know how well this stuff worked, and also that probiotics in general continue to work over time. Be prepared to play the long game, it takes time to bring about changes. We don’t think Ozzie, the kitten who probably started all of this ever had a normal bowel movement until he met Fera Pets Probiotics.

Magic Dust – This Stuff Works
I have a 19lb Moyen size poodle with doggie IBS. He is on a prescription diet but has always been able to convince others to sneak him “just a little treat off your plate” won’t hurt. However, stress is the biggest factor in setting off his loose stools. His vet had been recommending probiotics for a while, and I finally tried it. After doing my research I decided on this product. After several weeks I saw no real improvement, but I continued giving it to him. I’m so glad I did because after a month I noticed a real improvement in his stools. A small bonus: he does not scratch his ears as much. This product is not as convenient as opening a container and handing your dog a “treat” but I am able to give an appropriate measured amount for his size. Just one-half scoop sprinkled over his food is all it takes (for his size). He doesn’t seem to be able to taste it and there is no odor to it. After a year of use I would not go back. For the most part, he has had healthy solid poops. If you have a small dog this is also affordable. For a 20 lb dog you use just one-half scoop, the container lasts for four months bringing the cost of a probiotic regime down to about $7 a month. As I sprinkle the powder over his food, I tell him “Now for the magic dust!” and he gets excited. I’m sure that has more to do with my tone of voice, and the fact he knows his food is ready : )

This is an absolute GAME CHANGER for allergies
Finally!!!! After trying sooo sooo many things along with switching my frenchies diet to raw, with goats milk and tumeric, and using things to fight yeast and fungal infections I have to say I did a lot of research on what pre & probiotics are beneficial for yeast overgrowth in dogs and this stuff is the winner by a landslide!!! I have a 1 year old frenchie that has been battling terrible allergies and has been to everything from a holistic vet, to you name it. The smell is finalllllly starting to subside, and he’s not itching anymore!!! His skin is looking great! He seems like he has much more energy and over all happiness!! Highly recommend this stuff!!! Even if your pup does not have issues, probiotics are essential for humans and animals!

Update to Not Sure It Does Any Good
6 November 2025 Update:First the vendor offered a full refund after reading my initial review which I thought was generous. I declined and kept giving my hound a lower dose. After about 2 months, her poop seemed to stop being a bit on the loose side. (I love reading all the poop report reviews by the way.) At this point her system seems to have adjusted to it and so we will continue using it – just at about 1/4 of a scoop. Have upgraded my rating.Original review:We have an older treeing walker coonhound mix. Vet recommended probiotics after recent visit where they gave her a Purina probiotic. Decided to try this one since it is more economical. At recommended dose of one scoopful our dog’s stool got very loose. Not quite to the point of diarrhea. Have not observed any other issues. Kept reducing the dose to now is it barely 1/5 of the recommended dose. There was some improvement but at this low a dose, the question of is it actually doing any good has to be questioned. We add it to her dry kibble which we then make a warm water broth for. No problems eating it but every dog is different as you will see if you read the one star reviews. As people used to say in the early days of email, your mileage may vary.

Works better than expected. Saved my boys tummy
My cat, Goop, had some of the worst “stink bombs” ever. This is coming from someone who worked at an animal shelter. You could smell it from downstairs. I think I’ve given him some probiotics in some wet food 3 or 4 times and now when he goes #2 its at a normal level that you would expect. Thank you for your service. Also all 4 of my cats ate it happily in wet food, we had no problems

    Seems to be working great
I don’t want to jinx this, but my dog is scratching and licking A LOT less and his poops are good. I give him this supplement along with fish oil, so I can’t say the improvement is from this product alone or from the combination. I’m hoping now his ears might also be completely healed with continued use. He’s scratching less there too, but the ear infection (yeast and secondary bacterial- being vet treated) is a little more stubborn.

This product needs to be more defined and not on by fine print
So this postbiotics plus was supposed to be for cats and dogs and I got 2 of these for my 2 cats when I read on the fine print it said dogs only and now I am confused

    Works for my cat
Works for my kitty. She’s 14 years old and has problems fully digesting her food. She used to leave *extremely* fragrant presents for us in the litter box. I’m talking paint peeling off the walls bad. After fera pets probiotics the difference is like night and day. It’s never going to smell like a bed of roses but the “fragrance” level has gone down from a 10 to a 2.5. Huge improvement.

I mix these prebiotics in my cats wet food and they are enjoying their food as always. No issues. I foster kittens that have diarrhea and their stools have significantly improved since using this.

Fido doesn’t like it and rejects food regularly when this is added. I can’t tell if the item works or not.

This supplement has saved my kitty from hard, dry poops. She has food sensitivities and no matter what diet I tried, it seemed like her digestion would struggle sometimes. This has helped SO much! Now she has regular, much softer poops :).She is also a very picky eater and does not notice this AT ALL so it definitely doesn’t affect food taste which is so helpful (she has rejected a few supplements in the past based on taste, so I’m glad this one passed the test).I have been through several containers of these and it still helps as much as the first!I love the ingredients, quality, brand… but mostly I love how much this has helped my kitty 🙂
