Good litter box area deodorizer
I use this product for cleaning up accidents which my older cats have from time to time and neutralizing odors in the litter box area. It seems to break up and eliminate the urine odors in the litter box area, but must use the product with OxyClean type spray when cleaning soiled carpet and other surfaces to really thoroughly deodorize.

Anyone who fosters dogs has to be ready with a good enzyme cleaner, and this one fits the bill. In our situation, our current foster is now our permanent pet. He is still new here and is learning the rules of our house. He is doing great but still will occasionally sneak off to an empty room of the house to tinkle. This cleaner takes care of his messes, thank goodness! And since I chose the gallon size, it will last a good, long time.Since I have the gallon jug of this Hank and Harley enzyme cleaner, I just fill an empty spray bottle with it and spray it on generously when cleaning up/soaking up the bulk of the urine. Then once I am finished cleaning and soaking it up, I give that spot a very thorough, final spray to leave a large dose of enzymes on the spot as long as possible, so the enzymes can do their job. I don’t soak up that final spray, I just let it air dry after that, and it works very well. In addition to using this in a spray bottle, I have also used it (diluted) in my carpet shampooer and am pleased with the results when using it that way. I have had no issues with this cleaner staining or removing color from my floors or carpets.I like that this Hank and Harley enzymatic cleaner is unscented, so is not merely just a “cover-up” scented product. I doesn’t seem to have any added scent at all. In fact, it smells sort of acidic or sour and oft-putting when you put your nose right up to the bottle. Luckily, that scent does not fill the room or linger at all. The enzymes just do their job and leave a neutral smell. If you want any sort of scent on your carpet or floor, you’ll need to go back over it and spray Febreze or something like that, because this product does not have any sort of scent other than the acidic smell which thankfully does not linger.Overall I am pleased with how well this cleaner gets rid of urine and urine odor form my carpets and floors. It is definitely not a flowery-smelling “cover-up” product. The enzymes really do their job of gobbling up whatever it is in urine that gives it that yellow color and nasty smell. Recommended.

Totally NOT fragrance/scent free.
I don’t know what chemicals this product uses, but it is not scent/fragrance free. It smells like flowers or floral scent even after it drys. I actually got an asthma attack from using the stuff. It did absolutely nothing to break up the dog urine stains that were visible with UV light. I checked the stains long after using the carpet cleaner to attempt to extract the product and letting the area dry. No noticeable stain removal.Product was stuck in carpet fibers. Carpet felt soapy/sticky. I rinsed a small area (10×4) for almost an hour with several gallons of water and it still came up sudsy in some spots. The floral smell is still in that carpet space. Water from the extractor was almost clear at this point with a head of foam like a beer. Very very frustrating experience. I have used other enzyme cleaner for sale on Amazon and never had such bad results. I thought would give this one a try–totally regret it now.UPDATE: Still smelled like floral scent days later. I rinsed about 10 gallons of water in this small patch of carpet and then used 20% vinegar mixture until it barely pulled up any suds. Water was nearly clear. Smell is almost gone now. At least I can only smell vinegar instead of sickly floral scent. Maybe this is the plant based portion of this liquid but I would NOT call this stuff scent free. UV light still shows no noticeable decrease in staining on the carpet fibers. I am dubious as to the ability of this cleaner to remove the urine enough to stop a dog from remarking the spot.

It’s good.
My 13-yr-old white Persian cat has been acting naughty lately by peeing and pooping on the carpet. Most likely he’s stressed out by the newcomer, a new puppy who likes to annoy him. I got to try out this spray and it worked. It did a good job getting rid of the pungent cat urine smell and the product itself smells ok. This one works better than the other brands that I have tried. I will continue to use it and I give it 5 stars.

Good stuff
I’ve got six rescue dogs, and though I do my best to prevent accidents, they happen all too frequently. Soap and water simply will not take care of a urine odor, so I’m always looking for good solutions. This product handles the problem well. I can’t say it’s entirely fragrance-free, nor would I describe it as a “fragrance” for that matter. There’s a vague odor that’s not unpleasant. All I know is it smells a lot better than dried urine, and I’m grateful these enzyme products exist, or I’d be throwing out a lot of “christened” area rugs. Recommended.
