Large and washable!
Have only had this for a day, but both cats have already used it! It was put together super fast, within 3 minutes. Seems sturdy, and large enough to hold our 11 lb cat! The washability was a huge plus for me, and it’s also super soft. Plus, who doesn’t love glow in the dark?

A smashing success. This cat bed hammock is really nicely designed for easy assembly and use. It took maybe two minutes to put together, and most of that was screwing the legs in. It’s a nice solid metal frame that is solid, not at all wobbly, and feels like it could withstand way more than the weight of any number of cats or dogs that might want to snooze in this, though for ultimate comfort, it’s probably a one-critter bed. The cats in the attached photos run around 12lbs. each, and I’d say the hammock would fit 15-17lb critters appropriately. The hammock itself is sturdily thick, plush, and comfortable, with velcro attachments at both short ends of the oval. Easy for washing if needed!Okay, that’s all well and good for us humans who have to assemble and wash and all that boring stuff. What really matters is what their Royal Highnesses the cats think, and they are delighted. Within seconds of this being put on the floor, there was a cat in it, and it’s never been empty long enough for me to grab my phone to take a photo.It’s a particularly big success with my arthritic senior. He usually moves around, alternating frequently between different sized and shaped beds as his hips complain. But he’s been sleeping soundly in this hammock for hours at a time, blissfully comfortable. And he looks pretty sad if he goes for a snack and the spot gets pilfered. Which it does, and the other cats also agree it’s a primo bed. I may have to get a second and possibly a third to fulfil the demand.Five stars from me, and universal paws up from the actual target market!

Ich habe 5 Katzen und tausend Kissen und Bettchen, aber als mir Amazon die POMESEA Erhöhte Katzenhängematte mit Sink-Effekt zum Testen anbot, habe ich gerne zugegriffen. Die Hängematte lässt sich einfach zusammenbauen und ist tatsächlich stabil. Nach dem Aufbau habe ich sie im Raum auf den Boden gestellt und ignoriert, genau wie meine Katzen. Nach 2 Tagen habe ich dann die erste darin gefunden. Dafür, dass ich Luxus-Betten gekauft habe, die NIE benutzt wurden, ist das ein toller Erfolg. 3 meiner 5 Katzen haben die Hängematte gelegentlich genutzt, bis dann meine kranke Oma-Katze darauf aufmerksam wurde, und jetzt liegt sie 23 Stunden am Tag darin. Bei ihr habe ich die Hängematte noch mit einer kleinen Heizdecke und einer Inkontinenzunterlage ausgestattet und bin glücklich darüber, dass ich der alten Dame in ihren letzten Monaten noch so einen schönen Platz bieten kann.Von der Qualität her bin ich auch zufrieden. Die Hängematte ist nicht gakelig und man braucht keine Angst zu haben, dass bei einer dicken Katze ein Beinchen wegbricht; die sind stabil drangeschraubt. Auch die Stoffhängematte an sich ist gut verarbeitet, da gibt’s keine losen Nähte, Löcher oder sonstige Fehler. Dass die Sterne im Dunkeln leuchten, ist ein nettes Gimmick, fand ich aber im Schlafzimmer etwas störend. Da jetzt eine Decke draufliegt, sehe ich das aber rnicht mehr.Schöne Hängematte die auch tatsächlich genutzt wird.

This is a nice soft cosy raised hammock bed for my kitty. It has sturdy metal legs and frame and a nice soft fluffy bed which velcros on and stays in place well. It is easy to put together and everything fitted perfectly. It has a nice design and most of all – kitty loves snuggling up in it often. I have been using it for a while now and it is as good as new – so this will last a long time. Recommended for cat owners!

I have one cat who’s a total ground dweller. He loves the idea of lofty perches but never wants to be too far from the ground. He’d enviously watch his siblings lounging in their tall hammocks and cat trees, and I could tell he felt left out. I ordered this elevated bed specifically for him, hoping it would be the perfect low-to-the-ground hammock to give him that same cozy experience.TL;DR: This assembles in a flash, has a sturdy feel, and a cute, starry dual-sided cover. However, I was concerned to see a rust-like residue on the metal connectors right out of the box. It didn’t affect assembly, but it makes me question the long-term durability. After being ignored for a couple of weeks, one of my big boys finally curled up in it for a few minutes, so it does have potential if you’re willing to overlook the quality issue.The Nitty Gritty DetailsPutting this bed together was an absolute breeze, taking five minutes or less with no tools. Once assembled, it feels surprisingly sturdy and doesn’t wobble. However, one thing I noticed during assembly gave me pause. The inside of the metal tubes and the screw threads had a rusty-looking, coppery residue on them, as seen in my photos. While it didn’t impede putting the pieces together, seeing what looks like corrosion on a brand-new item is disappointing and makes me concerned about its long-term durability.While I actually didn’t notice that the cover was dual-sided originally, one side is a very soft, silky plush material with a charming glow-in-the-dark star pattern. The other side is a light grey mesh material that feels sturdy and more breathable, which would be great for warmer months, though it isn’t nearly as soft to the touch. The hammock size is great; plenty big enough for my larger 16-18 lb boys to fit comfortably.So what do my cats think of it? For the first little while, the cats wanted nothing to do with it. However, we did have a breakthrough! My fiancé set one of my sleepy big cats in the hammock, and he actually chilled for a solid six minutes before moving on. This is a huge win and gives me hope that the others will eventually come around, too.
