Best shedding tool on the market!
This is SORCERY. We have 4 dogs (an Alaskan Malamute, a Great Pyrenees, a Husky and a Corgi). This thing is the ONLY brush that works wonders for all 4. They also LOVE being brushed and don’t try to chew on the brush or escape daily brush sessions. We highly recommend this to ANYONE with dogs (or any pet really) that is prone to shedding!

The build quality of this de-shedding tool is pretty good, considering the price point. There are two sizes of teeth, allowing me to try this on both my dog (long-haired Australian Shepherd) and my shorthaired cats. This tool worked very well, especially on my dog. The amount of fur removed was so great that it was almost alarming, but he sat calmly for it and didn’t seem to feel any discomfort.

I tried this shedding blade first on our long-haired cat, and it readily removed hair without upsetting her at all.Then I tried it on my 28-year-old Quarter Horse, who apparently thinks that Winter Is Coming, because he’s already starting to grow more hair just in case it gets cold. In Arizona. *eyeroll*Anyway, it worked well on both animals, was simple to use, and it’s lightweight and small enough that it would be good for kids to use, as well.Instead of having one notched edge and one smooth edge, like equine shedding blades tend to have, this one has 2 different sizes of notches. Both sides are well tooled so that you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself, or irritating your animal’s skin.And it works well with the pieces of the handle separated to allow the blade to be straighter and cover more area with each stroke and with the handle connected, making it simple to use with one hand.

Asnfanl Dual-Sided Dog Shedding Blade
I ordered this for my constantly shedding dogs, but it works well on the cat too. It’s not as sturdy as similar ones I’ve used in the past, but it still gets the job done. I feel like it works better on the softer coats, as my Belgian mal mix has coarser, thicker fur with an undercoat. This doesn’t necessarily get to that under-layer, but it does still get all that loose stuff on top. It can be used with the handle like any other brush, or opened to cover a larger area. Pretty versatile, pretty effective, definitely worth the $8 listing price.
