Get this one!
So good!!! I thought this backpack so I can take my cat on walks and just for ease in the car. It does not disappoint!! So many cool features, the bubble can come on and off, there’s zippers that clasp together to make sure it’s extra secure. My kitty jumped straight into it the second I put it on the ground. I also got this one because I liked that it wasn’t a full bubble backpack. It’s a little more discrete which I like.

Love it but wish there were size options
This was for a gift for a petite person (4’11” weighing 88 lbs) so writing on behalf of her. She loved everything about this bag but it was huge on her. Quality seems good. Zippers are soft. The back pad is not removable. The main pad is removable with a zipper to wash the cover if needed. Main pad also has a firm plastic insert which seems much better than a thick cardboard. She wanted a bag to travel on the train with her pet in the colder weather. Not sure if she will keep this or not. There are a lot of nice pictures up of this bag in the reviews. So I just took pictures of the removal bubble window and the pad insert.**Additional info**1.Back pad seems like thin cardboard2.Bubble window has cutout word “pet” with two paw prints for additional ventilation.3. Great size! For me and the cat!
Love this backpack! My cat has so much space. Love the pocket sizes. Very easy to work with and transport. Not hard to put cat into. If your cat claws a lot they might rip through the mesh, but the quality is good besides that. My cat seemed comfy!

Bubble Cat Backpack Carrier
If you’re looking for a sturdy cat backpack carrier that will last and provide ample room for your cat through different life stages, I recommend this pack.I had recently purchased a different, less expensive pet backpack. While it allowed me to test if my cat would be comfortable backpacking, that backpack was more like a child’s toy. I could tell that that pack would not accommodate later life stages (my cat was still a kitten and growing fast). That backpack had a large plastic viewing pane that didn’t provide much ventilation, especially if the hot sun was beating on the plastic viewing pane for long. THIS backpack is miles ahead in comfort-for both the cat AND me, ventilation, functionality, durability.This pack is roomy and expandable. The front viewing pane is somewhat small but the large ventilation panels on both sides and the bottom front provide ample viewing area for you and your pet. There are three different entry points- both large side panels zipper open and closed as well as a smaller zippered front entry where the clear bubble pane in the front is.There is a generously sized bottom for your pet to comfortably sit or lie on. Sturdy, padded straps, back panel and handle. A strap to attack to your luggage if traveling. A small storage pocket and pocket for a water bottle. The pack has a base that prevents it from tipping over, which also makes it easier to load your pet in.I’m still finding more quality features on this pack. It’s clear that thought and intention went into every detail of this design. I’m selling the old cat backpack and even ditching my soft sided carrier for this well made, very versatile cat backpack. I plan on taking my cat so many more places now that I have this sturdy carrier. It is a little on the larger side as far as carrying it on your back but the weight distribution is good. If you want to take your cat (or small dog) out to explore the world while still being contained and safe, get it, you won’t regret it.

Get it for the backpack feature
Of all the pet carrier designs I have tried out, I would get this one exclusively for the backpack design. If the backpack part isn’t needed, this design is more cumbersome than helpful. That being said, this is a really cool design with a lot of great features.The straps, handle, and back is all padded for comfort. There is even a belt strap to help with weight distribution.Inside there is a clip to attach to the pet’s collar or harness so they can’t easily escape the carrier when it is opened.The bubble window is removable. It is really easy to take it off and put it back on. This is ideal for temperature regulation and airflow. When used with the attached leash inside there is no concern about escape and the pet’s comfort can be maximized.The expandable section takes a few seconds to open and close. It at least doubles the room in the carrier. It makes this a lot more versatile.The two main “doors” both have buckles to secure the zipper so the pet can’t wiggle it open and escape. I have had both cats and dogs figure out zippers so this is very helpful. The side panels are much more secure and those zippers are unlikely to be moved and they do not have buckles. Although a clip could easily be added if there was a concern.This style would work best with an animal that is acclimated to a carrier. It could be difficult to close the zipper door fast enough with an animal that is panicky and trying to escape. I definitely do not recommend using the extension with an animal that wants to escape. The mesh wouldn’t hold forever.There are pockets on both sides. There are small openings for easily giving treats. There is mesh on three sides of the main compartment.There is a bottom panel with soft material that is easy for a pet to grip. It would be especially secure for a cat to grip with their claws. That bottom panel is secured with Velcro to the bottom of the carrier. It seems to stay in place ok. The material is a cover that is removable for easy cleaning.When not in use this collapses all the way down to store flat. It doesn’t take up much room. I think this carrier can be used for standard vet visits, but not for surgery recovery. It is ideal for emergency evacuations.
