No Static Cling! Tolerated by both dogs and a grumpy cat!
I dont even know where to start, there are so many things I love about this brush! NO STATIC was something I noticed universal across all of my pets and all of their different types of fur. I normally use a furminator with very similar teeth as this brush and after a minute of brushing their fur always gets a static charge and I have to stop brushing. This brush did not do that.Dog #1 is a black lab with a soft, short coat. This dog tries to bite the handle of every brush I’ve ever tried on her. This brush doesn’t have a handle, so she didn’t recognize it as her arch nemesis and feel the need to destroy it with her velociraptor labrador teeth-LOL. Her undercoat has not really grown back in yet this year since its just now getting cold, so I did not get to test the brush’s performance on that, but in all honesty, I wouldn’t have anything else to compare it to since this dog doesn’t let me brush her, until now. 10/10 for the dog who tries to attack all brushes with handles!Dog #2 is a mix of German Shephard and Pitt Bull type. She has a coarse, short coat and literally never stops shedding. Due to her coat style, regular dog brushes dont work on her, so I can only use brushes with the little metal teeth like this one and my furminator. The amount of hair this brush collected is identical to the furminator, but since this brush did not create a static charge in her fur, I was able to brush her for a longer period of time (think 20 mins vs 5 mins) so because of that, I was able to have a much more successful de shedding session with this brush. 10/10 for the never-ending shedder!Cat #1 is a log hair tabby who tolerates brushing only down his back but not on his sides or tummy. He must have really liked this brush because he actually laid down and let me brush his sides, then tried to grab my hands in a form of cat language that said “I did not give you permission to stop” when I was done. No static when brushing the cat either. 10/10 for the long haired, grumpy cat!

Works Great on My Maine Coon Mix

A Lifesaver for My Fluffy Dog!
My sweet Finn, a giant fluffy Golden Retriever, turns our house into a tumbleweed factory every spring. Oh yes, this is the one!
After my dog had a complication after mast cell surgery, his skin could no longer handle any rough treatment, which meant none of our de-shedding tools could be used again. I went through a bunch of options, but every single one flared up his skin. And he’s a beagle, which means shedding like he’s creating a new dog.This was something like number 10 on my list of hopeful purchases, and this time, it was the right one. First off, this is a very high quality brush. The wood is heavy and smooth, and the metal comb portion is exceptionally well finished. There’s not a single rough spot or barb to snag skin.And it works. Oh boy, this works. That picture is just a minute or two of combing him. He had a lot built up and I could see how much he enjoyed having all that old coat fall away. The pile I eventually got from him was mind-boggling. And his skin stayed just like it should…zero irritation. Highest possible recommendation on this comb!

Fantastic and useful tool
As an owner of dogs, cats and horses, this is a must have and works beautifully! The photo I shared was the new dog I created from my great pyrenees after only 30 seconds of combing her! The comb’s tines are short so although it means you’re cleaning it out quite frequently, my animals love it! I’m not sure they even realize they’re being groomed. It’s so easy to use and beautifully seems to remove the under coat with ease. I only wish I’d gotten one of these sooner. Can’t wait to see how it works on the horse’s Winter woolies after the cold weather passes.
