    The Fast Metabolism Diet is more of an eating plan than dreaded diet…it’s revolutionized our eating and we’re losing weight without the headache. FINALLY something that works and the recipes in this cookbook are delicious! Truly!! But you’ll need to read the Fast Metabolism Diet book to truly get the most from the cookbook.

    Great recipes – only tried 2 so far!
    I (ok, we) have only tried 2 of the recipes so far, but the book is loaded with delicious looking meals. Not everything looks/sounds like something I’d eat however, and others are similar in nature to other recipes (tweak the protein and an ingredient and call it new type of thing) but there are plenty to choose from. The book looks very well thought out, and its bigger than I expected which is nice. It sounds like she also has some normal books to read that guide you through the “whys” and such, which sounds interesting so I’ll check those out too. This diet was recommended to me so we’ll see how it goes!The only hard part about eating healthier in a very small town, is finding some of the fresh ingredients they call for. In a one-store town, you get what they want to sell – nothing less, nothing more. And driving an hour to pick up fresh parsley just isn’t gunna happen! I wish someone came up with a cook book for eating healthy with very common ingredients that you can find about anywhere.Anyway, this cookbook is recommended!

    I love her books but…
    Great book but could’ve been better if there were headings or indicators to tell you which diet you could use each recipe with. It’s very confusing having to keep looking at food ingredients to figure out which phase.

    this is designed for people who want to lose weight.I prefer some starches for energy. I’m normal weight and get headaches and low blood sugar without the starchy veg and cereals

    It’s a great tool for loosing pounds with no other products if you so choose. I’ve been following for almost 2 weeks and down 20 lbs. [I am a very overweight lady]If you so choose, there are supplements you can take to help along the way.

    A little disappointed to find that the book doesn’t correspond to the best selling paperback book of The Fast Metabolism Diet. The recipes give no instruction of the Phases. Haylie, judging by her website, has gone on to do meal replacement diets as well as a few other schemes that I don’t want to get confused with ie The Burn, The 10 Day Fast etc. This book is generic to cover all those.It seems the one I need is The Fast Metabolism Diet Cookbook, so I have to make another purchase.Moral of the story, if you are looking to follow her ‘drop 20 in 28’ Fast Metabolism Diet, don’t get this book to help you, it won’t.
