Perfect raincoat
Bought this for the Niagara Falls.Perfect. Didn’t get wet. Very light didn’t take too much space on the suitcase. Fit was perfect. Color was beautiful. Worth the money. It is a perfect raincoat.

Great jacket! Be careful picking your size.
For the record: I don’t love this jacket, my wife does. I love my wife and she looks great in this jacket. We were a little confused by the mixed reviews on sizing. Many reviewers were posting remarks about the importance of ordering a size up to allow room for a sweater or something similar. Yet there were other reviewers saying the exact opposite. My wife is normally in-between small and medium when buying shirts and jackets (yes it’s extremely frustrating buying clothes for her) so we figured we should go with a medium since most reviewers were saying to go a size up. We ended up going to a store that carried these locally to try on the fit. Buying locally at the store would have been WAY more expensive! But it was useful to get the sizing just right. My wife said the medium felt like she was wearing a bag and she’d be swimming in it. Don’t know exactly what that means except that it was too large for her taste and not form fitting. She tried the small and it fit just right. Our recommendation is to get ahold of a jacket locally even if it’s not the exact model or color you’re considering but a Columbia brand rainproof jacket and try a few on to ensure you get the right fit for you to avoid the hassle of returning the product for a different size. I realize that this isn’t possible for everyone but amidst the confusion and various opinions on the matter it’s what we recommend. If that isn’t possible then decide what size based on your body shape and what you hope to use this jacket for. If you’ll need it as an outer layer with multiple other layers underneath for warmth then go a size up. If you’re going to use it just to stay dry with a small sweatshirt or t shirt with a fleece jacket underneath then ordering your normal size will be just fine and offer mobility.As for it’s use, the jacket did it’s job holding up to downpour rainstorms in Hilo Hawaii yet remaining comfortable and relatively breathable while having a very attractive appearance. We took it on several hikes and it kept her dry through several bouts of rain. She highly enjoyed and recommends this jacket as a lightweight and very rainproof jacket that has some style and isn’t “a bag to go swimming in.”

10/10 would recommend! This jacket kept me completely dry while we sat out in the breezy rain for 4 hours. The rain drops didn’t absorb into the jacket at all, just beaded up on the top. The hood is spacious and the fabric is soft. It’s not a bulky jacket at all and was spacious but still slightly form fitting. It’s a great jacket for fall rainy weather. I got this color because it was half off compared to the others. It’s a prettier color in person compared to the photos in my opinion.

Gorgeous but too big!
Beautiful colors, nice style, excellent quality, and good price. The turquoise is super fun, and the zippers work great with no catches. Only problem is that it is too big! I am fairly petite (5’3″, 115 lbs) and the XS was too big, though usually it fits perfectly on me. Sleeves were too long and wide, and the torso was too big. Sizing down one would have fit great, but unfortunately Columbia does not sell XXS. Very sad, as it was an excellent find otherwise. I will have to return it.

Quality jacket for rainy days etc
It just arrived yesterday and I’m very happy with it. Safari color is unique…a grey green. More grey than green. Zippered pockets, mesh lining. Fit me exactly like the model in photo. Slightly fitted but room for a couple thin layers beneath it. Have not had a chance to wear it in rain yet but it has a texture that should repel water at least for awhile.I bought my usual size for Columbia brand jackets and it fits great. I am 5’7″, 143, small busted, usually size 12. I bought a size L.

A really nice rain jacket for my trip
I spent 3 days researching lightweight, waterproof, breathable, packable rain jackets both on Amazon and other places. I also used AI to tell me what is the best rain jacket for me to take to Costa Rica. This jacket came up over and over again. I really didn’t want to spend this much money on a rain jacket as I rarely need one where I live. But since this one kept coming up I decided to buy it. I just got it, tried it on and I love this jacket! I got the purple color and it is gorgeous! I can’t wait to wear it in Costa Rica. And maybe I’ll be able to try it out before then, if we get rain. I love the way it fits, I got a small, and I’m 5’3″ 130 lbs. Fits perfectly. Nice pockets. I especially like how it protects your neck from the elements.

Love the fit and color
I love this jacket. The color is beautiful. The jacket material is soft and lightweight. I was expecting something more stiff and noisy but it’s soft, and the lining feels nice and soft on my skin.I sized up since I like to have extra room for layers and to accommodate my long arms and wider shoulders. I usually wear a medium in jackets and I think a medium in this would have worked well but I like the Large. The sleeves are plenty long and it’s roomy for layers. I’m 5’8” 30C 25”waist 35”hips with a long torso and it covers my butt (just barely). The hood is nice and roomy and the pockets are deep.The measurements are:Pit to pit: 22”Length: 27.5”Sleeves from shoulder seam: 25”I hope it keeps me dry in the FL weather, I expect it will based on other reviews but I will update after I get a chance to wear it in the rain.

I ordered it a size larger so I would have room for layering. There is plenty of room for a plush pullover if needed. Used the jacket the last couple of days for heavy rain and it worked great!

Me gustó muchísimo. En primera, el color es hermoso, sobresale sin ningún problema en cualquier entorno. Es totalmente impermeable. Hice la prueba de poner una manguera con el chorro de agua a presión contra la chamarra y no pasó ni un poco de agua, sólo se sentía fría. Soy delgada y para Columbia siempre pido XS porque me queda un poco grande la S, con XS me caben perfectamente otras dos capas ligeras debajo, hasta 3 capas he llegado a usar y no me siento apretada. Me gusta mucho que es packable. Simplemente me encanta, la recomiendo mucho, es resistente y cumple en su totalidad con su función. Columbia es mi marca favorita para chamarras impermeables, la recomiendo!
