Love it!
A friend had this cat litter, I took care of her cats for a day and decided to switch to that myself. I no longer get this cloud of dust when cleaning the litterbox (and that was from a supposedly low dust/top selling litter that hurt my eyes and irritated my nostrils). I mixed it gradually in bigger parts and after ten days changed all the tray into this. No problem for the cats. So much easier to scoop- nothing stuck at the sides anymore, smell is very natural, and litter bags very light. I will keep buying this.

Best litter ever
Bought this to try it out. Then we went back to regular scooping litter and realized that the price of it was worth the odor control. It also does last way longer than anything else we’ve tried.We have a ton of cats that come in and out of the house and this is the only litter that has successfully been able to keep the odor down. It doesn’t clump hard. It makes the pee a little gummy, so idk what they use for that, but even the pieces that do fall out when scooping don’t hold the ammonia smell like regular litter does. We don’t even scoop every day sometimes.You do need a slotted scoop to be able to shake the loose pieces out, that was learned quickly. But the litter smells clean, and is well worth the investment. All of our cats accepted it very quickly and we bought stainless steel litter pans, which it easily comes loose from.

AMAZING
THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING. I adopted 2 adult male cats; I live in a small apartment. This was very risky. I hate cat box smell. and there is no secret cat box place. My daughter recommended this litter, so I ordered. I was worried about the cost but happy, mostly it smells like wood chips, scoops easily, does track fairly badly. I used 1 bag for a month and still could have continued but needed to take my boys to another location for a few weeks. I then tried your general scoop clay litter. We went through a whole bag in a few days. tried a tofu litter ICK!! Back to Catalyst never staying again

We landed on this product after trying several different types of litter.
I feel sorry for my cats because over the past year we tried like 5 different types of cat litters. I have one cat that bites the fur off of his belly, so we were trying to rule out the silica in clay litter irritating his skin. We tried so many brands and different types of litter from walnuts, corn, crystal, another wood one, but didn’t like any of them. They all fell short in some way until we found this product. So far it solved all of our problems except the main issue which is my cat biting the hair off his belly. We concluded it wasn’t the clay litter, but we like this so much better that we are sticking with it anyway. Clay is heavy and gets tracked outside the box, but it does clump the best, has the best odor control and is the cheapest. Crystal is too dusty. I think we tried two different types of nuts. They didn’t like the texture and they didn’t clump well. The corn had zero odor control. We tried another soft wood cat litter brand that stuck to the litter pan and was a nightmare to clean. It basically turned into cement. We had quite the year of testing different litters. We like this one because it is soft. They like the texture. It has little to no dust. It doesn’t track much outside the box. It clumps well. It isn’t heavy. Clay still beats this product with clumping power, odor control and price. However I’ve read that clay litter dust can negatively affect cat respiratory health, so I’d rather pay more money and increase my cat’s health. And we empty it more often to prevent lingering odors, so our cats are happier that their litter boxes are cleaned more often. Being that this litter is lighter and less dust and less tracking outweighs the lack of clumping prowess, odor, and price drawbacks. We managed to work around the less desirable aspects.

Clumps well, flushable, decent odor control and sustainable – absolutely NOT low dust
I wanted to love this brand so bad. For the price you pay for it, it lasts a good while, only needing a monthly refresh. Odor control is great, though I did sprinkle in some Arm & Hammer litter deodorizer just to be safe. I used this for both litter boxes in my home and both cats adapted to it with no issue. However, by the end of the first week, my apartment was covered in sawdust and small wood chips. The wood chips I don’t mind, that’s completely understandable as even the best litter types will track to some degree. However, the sawdust will track EVERYWHERE. One of my kitties will sometimes walk away with sawdust all over her face. It’s especially noticeable on my sheets, as I have a litter box in my bedroom. Great value for your money and sustainably sourced, so I can’t in good conscience turn folks away from this. But please keep in mind that, in exchange for not changing the litter as often, you will be regularly cleaning sawdust out of every inch of your home to which your cats have access.

I really wanted to love this
I decided to try this product for a few reasons; great reviews, I liked that its lightweight when it comes time to clean out and wash the litter box, I was tired of dust coating everything around the litter box, I like the smell of sawdust, and finally I am a sucker for packaging/label design. It did not help with many of these. Yes the label was cool, it’s definitely easier to lift than clay litter-but those were the best things about it. This was so light that instead of little clay rocks all over the floor, I had little wood chips instead. The smell also did not mask or eliminate odors AT ALL. If there was poop in the litter, I’d know before I was even down the hall. The scent added to the chips also doesn’t mix well with cat pee. It did clump pretty well- but for bigger chunks would break up a lot and then the smell of cat pee would be overpowering. There was the same amount of vacuuming up dust/tracked wood everywhere as with traditional clay litter. This made me feel like I had to clean MORE than before, on top of always having to mask the smell or air out a room. Ive never had to do that with clay litterConsidering the price point, it just wasn’t worth it for me.
