Strong feathers
These fathers are very strong. One of our cats goes crazy over feather toys and usually rips the father apart not long after buying them. She has yet to destroy the first father which has been in play for over a week. I would recommend.

My cats go absolutely wild with feather toys. I’ve bought some that were apparently fake feathers and they could totally tell. They still played with them, but the behavior was different. With these, they act more aggressive. They WANT IT!! They want to KILL IT ! They get possessive and growl when they have it and they run off with the stick it’s attached to lol.If the cats love it, have tons of fun all day with them, so it’s worth it. Plus you get 6 of them in the set, that’s cheap and totally worth it. Especially when they destroy them after a few days.

Durable and reliable
My cats love these little things. Especially my indoor/outdoor cat. It stimulates him and makes him want to play more inside because he thinks they are real feathers. They are durable, fly around smooth, and can be very entertaining for your dogs as well.

This chaser toy has my 2 year old tabby playing like a kitten! He has been so bored with all his other toys, but he was panting after “killing” this “bird” over and over. The feathers come out after moderate play but that is what glue guns are for. I also like that the feathers are undyed. I removed the metal bell since I didn’t want to take the chance of him snagging a tooth in the loop that held it in place.

Great Replacement Bird
Great replacements, but our cat was scared of bell, you can just cut bell right off, so problem easily remedied. I also would state if your cat likes chewing on feathers, a metal bell might not be best idea for their little teeth

Great feather toys for cats! Be careful – they may never want to stop playing!
Affordable and pretty durable, as far as cat toys go. The feather arrangement makes them twirl while flying around. My cats are OBSESSED with these, yet despite numerous chews and clawings, they’ve held up. Would purchase again!

They don’t “fly” like the original Da Bird
I’m not sure how to explain it but the original “Da Bird” feathers flutter when you move the wand around in a certain way. They also make a little bit of noise and truly sound like a real bird in flight. These do not. I volunteer at an animal shelter and bought a Da Bird wand for the cats there and they wrecked the original within a couple weeks because they were so into it. I bought these as a cheaper replacement and they were utterly uninterested.

I got the 8-piece feather replacement set for my cat’s wand toy and it’s been awesome — my cat goes crazy for it and pounces super hard every time I wave it. The feathers feel strong and the colours are fun so it’s easy for me to switch them up and keep things interesting.

The eyelets on every single one broke off and couldn’t attach to the rod/cat toy. Returned for a refund.

Well made but a poor replacement to ‘Da Bird’. These are heavier and don’t make the fluttering sound that the original does. These turn ‘Da Bird’ into a regular cat teaser. So not bad, but not the replacement I was hoping for.
