Middle aged cat is obsessed
My cat is obsessed with the worms and won’t play with barely any other of his toys. We’ve played pretty hard using both of the rods the last few months and they hold up VERY well. He doesn’t care for the feather ones but he found them fun for a day. I love this rod/want style compared to non extending ones because this one hs a much better reach. I can sit in one spot and have my boy go crazy around my entire bedroom. He loves it and it has gotten him a lot more active.BUT be REALLY CAREFUL that you don’t hurt your cat by pulling on the toy when they have it in their mouths or wrapped around them. The fishing line material is really strong and you could strangle them or hurt them. I have to be especially careful at nighttime when I purposely do low light play to make things interesting for him.I’ve since purchased more replacement worms and similar items to put on the rods for him to play with because they original ones were getting disintegrated pretty fast (plus he struggled to free the want from the handle being stuck from underneath an open door and the ground by pulling and pulling on the work he was carrying, so they got destroyed faster). Other worm replacements are totally fine, but not all rod toys are good for this because they can be too heavy.

Great toy, great value, lots of fun!
Love them, and more importantly, my cat loves them!I’ve bought toys like this in the past, but the past ones were super short, far more fragile and had only 1 toy for the same price. These are sturdy, very long, have multiple toys in case one breaks or gets worn out and has a clip on the end so you can attach pretty much any cat toy you want to it.I especially love how long the wand and string is. With the short ones I’ve bought in the past, you have to be pretty close to your cat to play, and I don’t always wanna be sitting in the floor, or sitting in a chair leaning over to be able to play with my cat. With these, I can sit back on the couch and even recline after a long day of work and still be able to play with my cat and give her the exercise she needs without tiring myself out in the process. (You can also collapse the wand if you do wanna be closer or are playing in a smaller area)I’m confident these will last a long time, especially with as many toys it comes with to clip on the end, but I will definitely be ordering more. I wanna make sure I have plenty of these around for the foreseeable future to play with my baby and be able to relax after a long day of work at the same time.The only thing I would say to be careful about is the little metal clip on the end. Sometimes my cat catches the hook and I can’t pull it away from her without possibly yanking at her claw. I definitely don’t wanna hurt my sweet girl, so be careful and don’t yank it too hard if they catch it, but I think that applies to any toy. As long as you’re not reckless and yanking really hard at the toy while they have it caught, there will be zero issues.10/10 would recommend.

This cat toy package is a tremendous value! The wands are thoughtfully produced made like a fishing rod that retracts and flexes and bends to simulate live action of the toys. The hook up leads are rugged and well made and the line is transparent and not a distraction to cat. My cat would rather play than eat! She drags her new toy around the house until someone plays with her. The snake action toy is her favorite. This beats the wands at pet smart and walmart by miles and miles!9

Adequate young cat distraction toy!
We have a <2 y/o cat who is an absolute menace to society and chews like a lab. He goes absolutely nuts for this toy (feathers and worms!). We love that the string is long enough that we can sit on the couch while he's climbing the walls trying to get the worm lol.The only downside for us is that we wish it was a little sturdier. Like I said, he chews like a lab, so he broke the first package we got clean into thirds (BOTH STICKS) and this is actually the second pack we've gotten. Probably won't be a problem for most other cats, though.

My kitten loves this!
My kitten loves this toy so much! It doesn’t need any batteries and there are tons of heads you can switch out from. We are still on our first attachment and it hasn’t broken yet, so this should last a while. It is good quality and good size so I can play with my cats while sitting down. There are three different retractable settings however it pretty much will just always stretch back out to the longest setting. I haven’t needed to clean it yet, but I don’t think that would be too hard.

Perfect exercise for indoor cats
5 stars because for the money, it lasts a long time and is super easy to magnetize a cat. In the winter my cat can get some exercise when he stays inside 24/7. Telescoping pole made of thin wood. Several delicious toys for cats. Very easy to switch them and very easy to move it around. A cat can use one toy for months if not a year or more. However, must caution you to keep the terrier in another room. This toy is like crack for terriers and not recommended. 😀

Kitty loves this toy Sooooo much!!
Honestly, the whole family (and the cat!) is having so much fun with this toy! He would play with it all of his waking hours if he could. I had toys like this for may cat when I was little (in the 1960’s!) and it was always a cat favorite. After many years of being a dog mom, apparently nothing has changed. Our inherited kitty loves this more than any of his other toys. And we have endless hours of enjoyment and laughter.

It’s overkill with 2 wants and 9 teaser refills, i just needed one wand and one toy… but whatever.. the cat has a blast. Note that it is not retractable like you’d wind the line of a fishing pole on a reel. Retractable means that the wand itself can be shortened. So, that part i wish I’d read closer. I was thinking you’d throw the “lure” out to the end of the hall, and slowly wind it back. But it’s just a string and a wand. it goes a couple of feet. Again. the cat didn’t know I was disappointed, and she likes it, and she’ll grab it by herself some days.

Great toy. I have three kittens and it keeps them amused non stop. The actual stick is very sturdy and the attachments can take a lot of tugging and chewing. Others I have purchased in the past have very weak sticks and the attachments have not been hardy. Highly recommend. Good quality, value and long life span.

Cats loved it from the start. It looks fragile but seems to stand up to the activity well. One cat plays with the toy part even when the wand is still. The feathers probably won’t last long but the wiggly worms are sturdier than they look at first.
