I love this collar!
This collar is great! I’m ordering more. It’s perfect for my 2 month old black pup. We have a farm type light on our house as soon as she crosses the threshold into the darkness she completely disappears. We did try the clip on lights that go on her collar, although it was bright it wasn’t enough. Excellent Lighted Collar
All materials used for this lighted collar appear to be of very good quality. Though I initially thought the collar looked “too heavy” for my 12 pound cat, it looks good on him. The on/off button is a bit “bulky looking” but that makes it easy to find and access. I got the orange light and it’s just the right brightness – bright enough to see when it starts to get dark, but not “searchlight” bright. The light encircles the collar nearly entirely, only interrupted by the on/off button and clasp, which makes it visible from nearly any angle – i.e. my cat doesn’t have to be facing me when I’m looking for him. I haven’t fully tested the life of the rechargeable battery. I charged it fully upon receipt using the provided cable, but didn’t use it for a few days. When I did use if for the first time, my cat was out for about an hour and upon his return, the light was not on. It’s not like my cat is outside all night, so the battery life is probably sufficient. I’ll be able to test it better in the winter, when the nights are longer. Overall, a very good product.

This collar does what it says it does, lights up and even has a blink mode, although it’s not what I expected. I expected the LEDs to be embedded in the collar but it’s actually one LED that shines into the fabric of the collar making it glow near the light. I was slightly disapointed to see that the light doesn’t make it all the way across the whole band of the collar. Also, if your pet has long hair like mine, the hair kind of hides the light. It is bright enough though, good enough for walks at night so bikes don’t run my dog over on trails. The sizing chart is correct, got the XS and it fits. It was also easy to charge and overall quality is good.I can’t comment on the longevity of the battery as I only use it at night to take my dog around the block or to the dog park on the rare night walk. Will update if it failsUpdate: one full charge lasts something like 3 hours. I’m not sure if this is good or bad.

Not at all for a cat
This is too thick for a cat. My 6lbs year old cat looks like he’s wearing a neck brace. This is probably good for a dog, but it needs to be slimmer for a cat. I sometimes worry it’s too thick and bulky for him and that it could be hurting his neck by wearing it. For now I’m keeping it because I am afraid when he’s out at night and of him getting in the street and it being too dark for a car to see him. He had the energizer led light tag but I had to change the battery every 3 days so at least this one is rechargeable. We’ll see how long it lasts. If I find something slimmer I will definitely return this.Edit* this thing only lasted two weeks before the charge wouldn’t hold. He didn’t even wear it every day. But now when I charge it all day and put it on at night it lasts an hour before it shuts off. Such a waste of money.

It was very good until it quit, just two days past the return deadline! Not such a great value for the money. It was the perfect size, though, to fit my petite little girl puppy. She’s black and it makes her so much easier to see at night. Her brother, who is also black, has a blue light up collar by this seller and his is still working fine. It, too, makes him much easier to see at night. It’s also easy to click once and it’s solid, click twice and it’s blinking. – no. Just NO to the blinking!

Has made it easier to spot my black kitten in the dark
So far I’m in love with this collar! I have a 4 month old black kitten who loves to wonder around the house and sit by the stairs. The problem is that when night falls and he is playing around the house its difficult to spot him since he blends in the darkness. There have been instances where I have almost tripped over or stepped on him because he blends in the dark.The collar is thicker compared to the cat collar I usually use (of course this could also be because the product is actually targeted for small dogs). The material used is a bit stiff and seems durable. The led power button is a bit bulky but doesn’t seem to bother my cat. It doest seems to slightly warm up after usage( I would describe it a cozy warm, which make sense since its powering up a light). In terms of light intensity, the led light is (surprisingly) bright! Which is a huge pro for me.A downside of this design is that it does not have the break away safety feature, which could be life saving if a pet were to get stuck by the collar. Do note there is a small section of the collar that is it not lit due to the power button, but its not a big deal.Overall the product meets my needs as a customer and owner of a black kitten who just wants to easily spot him in the dark and keep him ( and myself) safe.

Very happy with this collar! It’s SUPER bright, which makes me feel heaps better about taking my small dog, (who is almost the exact colour of the dry grass around our local field), out for a run when it’s getting dark. It’s actually bright enough to light up the area around him!Almost everyone who walks their dog there has asked me where I got it from.The battery lasts for ages and it doesn’t get warm or seem to irritate him at all.Definitely recommend this if you walk your dog at dusk or nighttime.Edit; the battery was awesome for about 2 weeks, then wouldn’t hold more than 15 minutes of charge. Starting the return process, so I’ll update again when a remedy is reached and see how it goes.
