Awesome product
Fleas were are isue. They were bad this year.I did a 50 bugout/50 carpet shampoo mix in the carpet shampooer and it worked better than expected. The manufacturer didn’t say anything about using it in this manner but I have old carpets and thought I would give it a try. My wife is using it in the wash for pet beds and our bedding. It appears to work well. After trying many other products this is now included in every carpet cleaning, not at the 50/50 ratio. Currently at a 60 shampoo/40 bugout and it’s still working. I might try a 70 shampoo /30 bugout mix next time as there isn’t a rinse cycle while shampooing carpets.

The best summary of this item is that this stuff is great!! I absolutely love how clean the ingredients are and that they have been scientifically proven to work. The active ingredients are non-toxic and all-natural. I like that it’s safe for both kids and pets. It is very easy to use, add 1/4 cup to smaller loads and 1/2 cup to large loads in addition to your regular laundry detergent. It does have a light natural scent of the cinnamon and geraniol oils by itself but once you mix it into your laundry load with your regular detergent, run the wash, and dry the clothes, it doesn’t add/change the scent of the items washed. It is great and very important to us that this item is free of harmful artificial fragrances that we avoid by all means. We use scent free laundry detergent and wanted to comment that even with this product’s light NATURAL scent, the end result remains SCENT FREE. My use cases for this product is 1. For washing things after travel in which we may have been exposed to ticks as they’re a pretty big problem. 2. Even though I try to keep my 100% indoor cat free of fleas, sometimes I have noticed that sometimes there ARE fleas on him due to the neighbors having dogs over sometimes that maybe have them plus there are stray cats that get close to the door a lot. In addition to treating our cat, we will wash his things and our bedding with this. The fleas haven’t been a problem in a while so far so I can’t speak of its effectiveness on fleas. 3. I do have dust mite allergy/asthma and have noticed a reduction in the allergens that cause my symptoms after washing my bedding with this additive. I feel my bedding is fresher and more comfortable after using it. I liked everything about it except that it is a little on the expensive side and I will use it more sparingly due to this. It is made in the USA! I would purchase it again and use it sparingly. Give it a try, especially if you want effectiveness while avoiding harsh chemicals.

Didn’t work
I’m not really sure if this works. I’ve been dealing with a flea problem for the last month so I figured I’d grab this to see if it helped but just washing your clothes and hot water and with soap would go flea so I don’t know why you would need this Pretty much would kill any bug that way it doesn’t it’s her bug. I’m going on your clothes out there being washed with this item.

Natural ingredients
I purchased this as a preventive for beg bugs when I travel. I live in South Texas so during the summer I can place everything in my car in the heat to kill any potential bugs that hitched a ride with me while traveling, however during the winter it does not get warm enough for this to be effective. It gave me peace of mind following our last trip to Europe knowing that I would still be able to wash and treat our laundry in hopes of preventing an infestation. The product is easy to use by simply adding to your load of laundry along with your regular detergent. It has a light scent too it but considering what it does and the fact that the ingredients are natural it is not overpowering. The quality of the ingredients and the fact that they are natural and clean leaves me feeling comfortable using this for my family’s clothing knowing we are not getting toxic chemicals by doing so. We have not experienced any irritation or stickiness so far using this product. It is not easy however for me to actually grade the effectiveness of the product considering I am only using it for preventive measures. That being said we have had not problem or bugs with it so far.

Peace of mind in a bottle, though you’re mostly trusting it works
I picked this up after a camping trip where I was paranoid about ticks hitching a ride home in my clothes. The thing is, you can’t really see if it’s working… which I guess means it’s doing its job? You just pour some in with your regular detergent and hope for the best. It has a light cinnamon-y smell when you add it, but once everything’s washed and dried, your clothes just smell normal. No weird residue or stickiness, which was a relief. I’ve been using it on outdoor gear, bedding after trips, and anything my dog sleeps on. So far, no bug issues, but honestly I don’t know if that’s because of this or just luck. The natural ingredients make me feel better about using it on stuff that touches my skin, and it doesn’t irritate anything. My main complaint is the price… $75 for the gallon bottle is rough when you’re basically using it as insurance against bugs you hope you never have. I use it sparingly now, saving it for after travel or outdoor activities rather than every wash. If you’re the type who worries about bringing unwanted guests home from hotels or hikes, this helps you sleep better at night. Just know you’re paying a lot for that peace of mind.
