Finally—a dental stick my dog loves!
Dental chews have always been hit or miss with my pup, but Bocce’s nailed it. These sticks actually smell good (for a dog treat!), and my dog happily runs over every time I take one out. I’ve noticed her breath is fresher, and she takes her time chewing them, which is great for her teeth. Plus, I love that they’re made with simple, natural ingredients—no weird chemicals or fillers. Definitely a new staple in our routine!

Wonderful!
I got these for my 9 year old golden lab who has a sensitive stomach and allergies. Unlike most brands, these don’t have any artificial colors or ingredients. I’ve noticed her breath and teeth have been a lot better since giving them, and they don’t upset her stomach! Definitely recommend.

A great alternative to greenies
I used to give my dog greenies, but it seems like everytime they gave him tummy troubles. Upon researching, I found others had the same issues – so I ordered these. He loves them! He’s a 14 year old chihuahua with hardly any teeth left, but can still chew on these just fine. They have a very mild, non-offensive smell and have not seemed to make him feel sick.

My dog loves these but they’re too expensive
They are one of two brands that don’t contain an ingredient he’s highly allergic to that gives him diarrhea – powdered cellulose. Also they’re one of only 2 brands that are actually made for large dogs – though not giant breeds. They take a decent time to chew, smell nice, and give him fresh breath. The problem is the price. We can no longer afford them with an 80lb dog with 7 sticks per bag – it comes out to roughly $1k/year as places are often out of stock and prices go up when this happens, and sometimes they’re on sale but not enough to make a dent. We had to switch to Shameless Pets which aren’t as thick but have similar ingredients and are way cheaper and have fewer calories. While I like how the SP ones have more ridges and flavor options they likely don’t clean his back teeth as well as the Bocce’s due to being thinner, but Bocce’s easily could do something about the pricing issue by making their B shaped sticks have deeper ridges all around and hollow out the holes in the B’s to save a bit of weight and calories, as well as sell larger packs so you could buy a month’s worth at a time in a container vs. a 1lb bag. They don’t even have to use the B shape – I mean not everything they make has a B shape, so to me this is kind of a silly hill to die on for large breed dogs, and there’s still nothing – and I literally mean NOTHING out there for giant breed dogs when it comes to dental chew sticks; roughly 5″-5.5″ is the longest available and that’s something a giant breed will just choke on.

I have been searching for the right dental chew for my senior dog. She is super picky and doesn’t like to chew hard ones since she is old. It was extremely hard to find a dental chew that is not that hard and tasty. Finally!! She absolutely loves it and, I am looking forward to her nice breath smell.

So Far So Good!!
We feed our ‘girls’ The Farmer’s Dog food. Because it is fresh, soft food, I wanted to get them something they could ‘crunch and chew on’. I also brush Sophia and Maiya’s teeth several times a week. These ‘treats’ have been helpful to boost their dental hygiene. Their breath has improved, and the tartar on Sophia’s bottom teeth (she has an underbite) has also diminished. Sophia is 7 lbs and Maiya is 11 lbs. I give them one-half of a stick every other day. They have not affected their digestive systems in any negative way. Recommend!

My boy loves his dental treat. He eats it too fast for me to take a pic but here he is happy after he ate it. The best dental treat with minimal ingredients.
