The best dog food I’ve ever given to my dogs, and it’s worth it.
We’ve used this for a little over one year with excellent results so I thought that’s enough time to really comment on the quality and effectiveness of this dog food. We have an almost 9 year old AmStaff with all the allergies and sensitivity issues common in the breed. We struggled for most of her life to get the digestion issue stable—tried everything including freeze dried raw. When avian flu infiltrated the farm system I anticipated that the pet food factories would be an easy vector for the disease so I looked for food that had high quality ingredients and the preparation necessary to be ensure safety (not raw). I did a lot of reading. I decided to try badlands ranch. It has been a revelation. This food is not raw—it’s cooked/heated, but not overheated in a kibble way. After the introduction period, my dog’s GI system has been consistent, regular, and firm. No more bouts of diarrhea. Her coat is shiny, and she looks and acts like she’s 3, which is a testament to its high quality ingredients. The skin allergies continue to be an issue, but I think it’s mostly because of where we live. I can visibly see that her general health and GI system are excellent and I attribute a big part of that to this food. It is expensive, but I’m convinced it’s worth it. What you feed your dog is translated into general health—and fewer trips to the vet. Badlands ranch is the best dog food product I’ve given my dogs in 50 years of dog ownership. I highly recommend this dog food.

Quality, nutritious, smaller bites
My dog is fussy. But she loves this food. I love that she is getting a great quality meal that she enjoys. Not much more expensive than the others we’ve tried. She’s smaller and able to easily chew these smaller pieces too. Will definitely buy again.

Good quality dog food
I have a really picky female chihuahua dog and this dry food is the only food she would devour. So it’s definitely worth purchasing and I notice her coat getting shiny and her energy is always like a puppy. The price is a bit expensive, for a small bag but my Mia is healthy and that’s what matters.

Wonderful, healthy dog food, my dogs crave it like snacks so obviously well made and must be good ingredients… awfully expensive however. Wish it were more affordable.

Pricey but Apparently Tasty
My dog seems to love this product. It’s too expensive to feed him a bowl full so I mix in a generous hand full into his regular food. It’s not visually great looking. Looks kind of like dried beef and it doesn’t smell great to me but as long as he’s happy I like it.I trust it to be a high quality food.

Good food but price puts it out of range as a full time option
My dogs love this food. The problem for me is sustaining the use of this at the price point. One bag barely lasts a week, even using it as a topper instead of using it as the entire food source. My dogs are not even large (around 35 lbs), and there is no way I could afford this as a full time option.

Food great Shipment horrible
Food is excellent. Dogs love it. Gives them energy & shiny coats.Delivery however was horrible. Bag of food had been cut. Food was all through big shipping box. No way was this done when I opened box as I used a letter opener which wouldn’t cut. See picture. Also bag was below shoes when I opened bag. Bag was obviously cut when put in box and food spilled out all over during shipment. I would return but I need food for my dogs.
