Easy to install
Great quality and very sturdy! The Baby Trend Hybrid 3-in-1 Booster Seat was easy to install and feels safe and secure. My child seems very comfortable on long rides, and the seat padding provides great support. I also love that it grows with the child definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend for parents looking for safety and comfort in one seat!

Got in a wreck that TOTALED the car weeks after buying, three year old completely unharmed
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We picked this car seat because of the affordability. About three weeks later, someone rear ended me and my three year old in this car seat going 55 miles per hour at least, maybe more, and while I was stopped to turn left. I have been hurting for weeks, gone to the chiropractor multiple times, but my three year old has been seen by her pediatrician and by her chiropractor and besides some psychological stress, she was completely fine. A paramedic on scene specifically said that if she was buckled up properly using a five-point car seat, she should be ok, and she was. Everyone else left the scene in an ambulance except for me and my child, and I’ve been hurting but she’s been completely fine. Every car was totaled except one (not mine, mine was totaled). This is clearly a very safe, crash-proof car seat if you use it correctly. Car seat quality:Extremely high quality Safety:Extremely safe

fits a tiny human
got this for in-laws car for a nephew. he is about a year and several months old…old enough to be fully outfitted with a full set of pearly white gnashers, but not old enough to fully appreciate their usefullness. he fits in this seat just fine with the back padding with room to grow into it still. shoulder belt goes in the slot on one side at the back, and out the other. kid is buckled into harness. so far, buckle has defeated angry attempts at escape during high speed highway travel. i dont ride in the back so i cannot attest to the effectiveness of the cupholders, but they appear to fit the required sippy cups.

Tethering Hardships
Tethering straps are a bit of a challenge. They don’t fit right and can’t be tightened so you need to use the car seat belt whether you want to or not. Other than that great car seat! Easy to assemble, though that seems a strong word for getting everything lined up. I love that the extra padding is reversible. Other reviews mentioned the straps for the harness are a little short. This does seem to be the case.

My 6yr old loves her new seat. Easier for her to climb in, more space in our back seat. Slimmer style and lighter weight for easy back and forth from vehicle to vehicle.

Not overly impressed
I was a foster parent and have had lots of kids and used lots of different car seats over the years. This one is definitely NOT my favorite. I bought this for my 4 year old to transition into a booster while still using the 5 pt harness. He is small for his age, but the straps are almost too short already. The tethers to secure the seat to the car do not fit well in an Armada and makes it almost impossible to tighten as tightly as our previous carseats. I do like that it has plenty of cushioning and padding, as well as cushioning at the head. All in all, I wouldn’t buy this one again, but it will work for now.
