Excelent purchase
I’ve been using it for about a moth nos and it works perfectly, the timer set works amazing and I don’t have to worry for serve food when I’m out, the food indicator it’s perfect for repurchase at the exact time the new food and it can hold perfect the hole package of food I bought. Its size is perfect for a small apartment and I love the stainless steel plate.

Better than expected with a very minor annoyance.
Feeder Overall Review:I was surprised by the quality, which looked modern and sleek, not of those “tacky” design. Additionally, the volume of cat kibble that this feeder holds is amazing. The only downside is that it is a bit slow when dispensing food but it’s not really a big deal. It also does not help that a single dispense does not give a lot of food. Overall, it’s not bad for the price, I would give it a 4.5 if I could.App Connection:Connection with the Smart Life app was pretty straight forward. People are struggling here the connect the feeder to the app because they think they have to press the manual feed button to get it to go to pairing mode. To connect it to the app, you have to use the included pin tool that was included and hold the reset button (next to the power input) for 5 second. This should make the feeder blink quickly, then the app should be able to discover it.

This product would not pair which rendered it inoperable.
Unlike some other customers, I was pleased with the smaller quantity of kibbles dispensed by this unit. My other unit spit out too many which my cat ate with gusto and frequently threw up unmasticated. That is the only reason I bought this one. An app was an attractive feature to me though, since to program my existing unit is a fairly ridiculous sequence you have to engineer lying on the floor next to the unit and its meager array of buttons. The app for this product downloaded readily but it could not pair with this product. All the other devices in this house have paired up with virtually no effort. In this instance I spent about three hours fiddling with it, my network, my router, and my phone. If they are going to sell a connected device, that can only function if connected, they really need to figure out how to make the connection happen. Amazon’s return policy is far more efficient, and this unit will be sent back in the morning.

Works very well and I love that you can adjust remotely from your phone.
Worked great! You can adjust how much food comes out per feeding so I would monitor and see how much your pet is eating. My guy is a grazer (cat) …and always wants fresh dry food so smaller single portions work good for him!! I love the convenience and we used it while we were on a trip. A neighbor was coming over to provide wet food and change his water but I felt good knowing that he always had fresh, dry food to eat throughout the day/night. My neighbor told me he was eating almost all of it when she got there so I loved being able to add another feeding to the day to make sure he always had enough!!

Inconsistent food dispensing
The output feed is very inconsistent. I have it set to feed four times and as it rotates around, sometimes it drops a full amount and sometimes only one piece of food. The food I’m using is not large. It’s the average size for cat food. I bought this one to replace another cat feeder that had the internal mechanism fall apart with no ability to find parts to fix it. however that one even broken puts out more consistent food than this one does. I’m still going to keep it but will have to set the # of feedings higher than expected. The other problem that I have with it is, I don’t get any notifications when it feeds or if it’s low. My other feeder would tell me every time that it fed and every time that it was low. This one doesn’t seem to have the ability to enable notifications and I think I have it set up correctly in the SmartLife app. But other than those negative things, it is built fairly well. I like the fact that the food container can come out completely so that it can be refilled outside instead of pouring it from the top. Also, the food bowl is built nicely and it comes apart if needed for cleaning and also has a button to do a manual feeding

No Other Cords Fit
While this is a great automatic feeder, you can’t use any cord except for the one it comes with though. I love how easy the app is, and how quick setup was. It also warns you when the feeder is too low, and will still feed your animals if the cord comes unplugged. Even though it works off the batteries, the app does not. The feeder has to be plugged in for the app to function properly.Customer service was very responsive though and has allowed me to return this feeder so that I can get a different one that will take other cords.

Garbage don’t buy
Sure would love to do a minus 5 star review for this! It’s garbage it absolutely doesn’t feed when or how it’s programmed to. Today it fed my cat every hour on the hour for a total of 36 servings it is programmed to do 5 total. This is not the first time the thing just does what it wants some days it feed less than programmed. Save yourself a headache and an overfeedingunderfed cat. You may as well feed it yourself.
