Love the smell and lather. Great for color treated hair.
Great scent. Used to have this product when I’d get my hair done in the salon. If it was good enough for my stylist, it was good enough for me. Excellent lather, I just love it!

I’ve been buying Amika products from the salon for years. I was hesitant to buy from Amazon, but this is the real deal. It smells heavenly and leaves my hair feeling clean and soft.

Great for chemo hair
A girlfriend turned me on to this. Chemo has done a number on my hair turned it into straw. And this really helps make it soft and manageable again. It’s overpriced…that’s my sole complaint, and for that reason, I took one star off.

Love It—A Little Goes a Long Way
The shampoo and conditioner are both super hydrating. The shampoo is a little dense, so I would use a dime sized amount to wash my hair twice. The conditioner is lighter in terms of weight than the shampoo. I can instantly feel the moisturizing effect as I apply the conditioner to the ends of my hair.The fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner is sweet and can be a little intense at first but after multiple uses, the fragrance is pleasant and not overwhelming. I can go about three days without washing my hair and my hair still smells good.Good to see there are no harsh sulfates or other added chemicals that create too much or unnecessary lather. There is some lather when you rub it in your hands first before applying to your scalp—which is nice feedback to know that it’s working.I did not experience much hair loss at first use, but after using it a while, I did experience an average amount of hair loss but not too much so it is normal and not concerning. My hair feels clean and fresh after every wash so it is highly effective and worth spending a few dollars more for quality. Overall, a little bit goes a long way.

The shampoo is great but…
Amazon wouldn’t let me post my original review, so let’s try again.I’ve been using this product for years and love it. For the first time, I received a product that wasn’t authentic. The shampoo was a pinkish clear instead of white and didn’t have the signature amika scent. I also checked the amika website and they haven’t changed their formula recently. Unfortunately, I was outside the return window and had to throw it out. Buyer beware, cross check that your product is an authentic one.
