Excellent find
I have bought the large bags of these twice now. I use them as training treats with foster dogs and as daily treats for my own older dogs. I have 2 large breed mix mixed dogs who are getting older and slowing down. The glucosamine levels in this treat are higher than any other treats I have found and seem to be helping with some aches and pains. My dogs know they get these every night before bed and sit in the kitchen near where they are stored waiting for me to come so I never forget to give them to them. They really enjoy the flavor and it is part of our nightly ritual. They are very small in size so for them to be effective with a big dog you have to give them at least 20 /day.They do feel a tiny bit greasy on my fingers and I have to wash my hands after handing them out, but it is not bad. They will dry out and get brittle quickly if you do not push the air out of the zip lock bag and keep it tightly closed in between use. Highly recommend these for both training treats as well as a supplement of glucosamine for dogs with joint issues.

Work pretty well – dog thinks they are a treat
My 15-yr-old dog gobbles these up. They are almost as effective as JointMax Triple strength but she refuses to eat those. So far, this has worked the next best and she thinks they are yummy.

Not Soft Chew
These dog treats are labeled “soft chew.” They arrived and were hard as rocks. They are still useful for large dog training, but if this is intended for a small dog, it will take them a moment to chew it, so it is not an optimal training treat for small dogs.
