Amazing, durable transport for cats that love to travel and watch the world.
Until very recently (June 15th), I had never had a cat that wanted to go literally everywhere with me. But after I had found Nunu, my new cat, in a box with her two siblings, I couldn’t just leave her, and she turned out to be that kind of cat , following me around the house, trying to follow me outside, extremely unhappy if left behind, but totally unwilling to wear a harness or collar. When I saw that this was available, I jumped at the opportunity, because I had seen a few people using things like this whenever I had gone to the vet. And she loves it! She loves it, she’s kept safe and secure, and I don’t have to worry about her spazzing out and choking herself half to death with a harness or leash. Which she is very dramatic about, but we’re still going to work on it. This, however, lets me take her literally everywhere with me. It can hang on my wheelchair if needed or I can have it on my front. Just turn around, and she loves to watch the world and see what people are doing from it, so it has been great for both of us.Aside from the good that it’s done for my mental health and Nyx’s general happiness, it’s very sturdy, the bottom is nice and solid, and doesn’t bend like so many with a slide in bottom of some variety, where the bottom is just too flimsy and doesn’t take long to warp, bend or even fold. Not this, however, still the same as when I received it. Also, she can’t easily chew through the mesh, but can see our surroundings very well, nor has she been able to unzip it easily herself because I can lock the zippers together if I need to. I usually just use a twist tie that way I can remove it quickly if I need to.All in all, I cannot recommend this enough if your cat really loves to go places with you and just does not want to cooperate with harnesses or a leash. I will also be adding photographs later, so that I can show how little wear and tear it’s taken despite being used nearly every single day since its arrival at our house. I hope this review helps someone, because I wish I had seen something like this months or even years ago. I can only imagine how useful it could have been for other cats, even though no other cat I’ve had has been nearly as clingy and protective as Nyx, who is the first black cat I have ever had. And their personality is just something else. Absolutely amazing backpack (Sort of) for an amazing cat.

A game changing carrier for our kitty’s vet trips!
I ordered the mesh door option for our kitty, Bob Zazzles. It delivered the same day which was great since he had a vet appointment the next morning. We’ve always used a duffle bag style carrier without issue, but my gut said to order this & I’m glad I listened.It pretty much comes complete, & all you have to do is open it up & place the soft, fur covered board in the bottom – that’s it. It also collapses for storage. Our cat went into the carrier on his own & hung out for a bit – something he’s never done before. I think he liked that he could stand up in it without issue, as well as have room to lay down. The mesh let’s him have a better view, too.It’s sturdy, well-made, lightweight, & easy to carry. The material is durable & should make cleaning a breeze, plus there are multiple pockets of different sizes to store toys, treats, travel bowls, etc.The backpack features 3 ways to load/unload via the top, front, or side – which is our preferred way. And while I don’t think he’d ever be up for it, the backpack straps are very strong & there’s a trolley strap for attaching to rolling luggage. However, the top handle is perfect for us to carry him.Once in the car, the backpack carrier was easy to secure with a seatbelt in the back. It stayed in place during the drive thanks to a non-slip bottom.On our way to the vet, he protested less than usual even though it’s understandable a car ride is something he’d prefer not to do. Plus, since we live in Oklahoma where tornadoes are a part of life, we have to have his bag ready to go when needed. Just knowing that he’s less stressed & doesn’t hate his carrier makes us feel so much better!!The box it came was, of course, a big hit as you can see in the last 2 pics. Like most cats, Bob gets excited every time an Amazon box arrives, but this time he laid claim to it longer than usual. :0)Overall, Amazon really did a great job with this carrier & we couldn’t be happier! It’s parent approved, fur baby approved, & an all around great value.

Very high quality carrier for what it is, a little bit of a hassle to put together, though!
This is surprisingly quite high quality for what it is so good vale for money for sure, however it was a bit of a hassle to put together. Although not a big challenge, the spot the cat looks out of was a bit hard to connect with the zipper as they come in separate pieces but once that was in it stays on VERY secure. The plus side however for this design is when you need to store it, it can be collapsed into a rather condensed version of itself making it easy to put in storage when there is long gaps of when you’re not using it.This has very breathable mesh and plenty of ventilation for a kitten or a cat alike so no worries at least for me on that end! I would say this bag can easily fit two small kittens or one medium-sized cat although that cat prob wouldn’t be very comfortable! This is very comfortable to wear and the straps are plenty secure for outdoor adventures like hiking so that’s definitely a plus as well. In general my biggest gripe was just putting it together but after that the quality itself is just AMAZING.I would say the biggest DOWNSIDE to this bag is cleaning as I just don’t see a very practical way to clean it so my best solution for that is to simply put in some kind of pet blanket or something along those lines that can be washed just in case of travel sickness or an accidental bathroom break but beyond that glad to have it and excited to use it more often in the future. So far its been fun bringing my kitty with me!
