Worked great on mothball odor for a leather bag
I bought a vintage designer leather handbag for a great price online and it was like-new except it had an incredibly strong mothball odor that I could clearly smell on the other side of the room. I used activated charcoal, aired it out in the sun for days, cleaned and conditioned it, and nothing quite worked. The odor lessened but it was still very obvious when I got close to the bag. I decided to give this gel odor eliminator a shot and it worked! I kept it in the closed bag for about a week and the mothball smell is pretty much entirely gone, even when I put my head fully inside the bag. So pleased this did the trick! I know mothball odor can be really impossible but this really worked for me.

One of the better ones on the market
Wow, this is a great product! I’ve wasted so much money over the years between sprays, plug in odor eliminator, charcoal pouches. You name it, I bought it. They ALL failed!! Amazon Basic Gel Odor Eliminator actually works. I use it in a small room so I think that helps the product work better. If you have a large living area you would need 3 or 4 to notice a difference. I took a star off because the gel is almost half gone, not quite but almost, and I started noticing the difference. I ended up taking the cover off and leaving the gel fully exposed and it’s working once again.

Lavender a la Synthetic Chemical
I bought this to use inside my car. I’ve had a residual smoke smell from the previous owner. The deodorizer does work and I’m sure it’s a good solution for some situations. In my case, it’s a bit reminiscent of a chemical odor mask that reminds me of what they used to use in gas station restrooms. I’m not really a fan.

Smell be gone
We moved into an older house that was kept up very well but had an underlying mold smell. I tried to cover it up with wall plugins, charcoal bags and sprays the promise to kill the odor.They didn’t work it always came back. I’ve seen another reviewer that said they have moved into an old house and it had an underlying mold smell even after cleaning everything including the carpets and still couldn’t get rid of that smell.They said this worked. So I bought it and within 7 days just like the other reviewer said the smell is gone. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is not to smell that odor. I love my house just could not stand that smell. If you’re looking for a product that does what it says then give it a try. As for me I am so happy! I will be ordering more just to make sure it stays this way. You can’t beat the price. Thank you for caring this wonderful product wish I had found it sooner.

What Catbox?
The only space we could find to put our catbox (one of the huge rotating ones) was to repurpose the front hall closet. However, we also need to keep the door cracked open so the cat can access it. It was really making relaxing in the living room unpleasant for me as I have a canine sense of smell. I bought odor eliminator in lavender, hoping to get some relief. IT WORKS! I realized about a week in that I wasn’t smelling the catbox. It is has been two weeks and we are going strong.

Good product used for car odors
Product came as advertised and was easy to use for my suv. After 2 days the strong odor in the car was unnoticeable and effective. It lives under the seat so no need for sticky glue to hold in place. Great use for cars and smaller places to eliminate odors and you can use with your favorite scent freshener.
