Heavy duty
Off first impression this leash is very sturdy and quality looking. I love the color of blue it comes in and the thickness of the tape seems to be heavier duty than any other I’ve seen. The lock works great and the release even better although the handle is very bug in my hand and is hard to control and fatigues my hand faster than other leashes. A little bulky but other than that, its a great buy!

I bought this for our 150 lb. Great Dane. And it works perfectly. He is leash trained and isn’t one that pulls. So he walks perfectly and it allows him enough room to walk his own speed. Especially since his walking gate is longer than mine. Better than a regular leash. Has room to roam. But is very durable. Easy to use. The click to stop works great. Worth every penny.

Could easily be the worst customer service ever. This leash broke while restraining a medium-sized dog. The company would not respond, all I got was AI.

Great leash for XL dogs
Great leash for XL dogs. The 16’ leash is good for letting the dog wander. Only area for improvement is the lock. It is not the best design and can get stuck.

Worth the money
I bought 2 of these. I have an 84 lb and 56 lb staffy. These are great,i wish i would have bought them sooner. Been close to a month and they have worked great. I only gave 4 stars because the clasp doesn’t have a swivel on it so the leash gets twisted up sometimes. I roller blade with both my dogs at the same time, so the twisting up is a little bit of an issue when the leash isn’t able to retract. There’s been a couple big jerks on these from unexpected stops and the occasional rabbit and they’ve held up with no issue. Because i take them on my roller blades and they can pull me if they choose to they somtimes pull when were on walks and these two are pretty stout and their 4 wheel drive is top of the line, that said i’m very pleased with the performance and duribilitty of these.

Such a shame. This was otherwise a great leash. Worked exactly how I wanted it to. In less than two weeks of owning it, I took my eyes off the dog once while talking to a neighbor. It was less than 2 minutes and I did feel tugging on the leash but thought nothing of it. She manages to chew through the leash. What a joke. This is a less than 60 points German shepherd. They don’t bite that hard, but I guess enough to cut through this supposedly heavy duty leash. If keep your eyes on your dog every second, not a bad leash. But if you glance away, I think your Chihuahua might slice through it like butter.

I’ve been using this leash for the majority of my first dog’s life and planned to use it on our new puppy too. It feels good in my hand and the locking feature is intuitive, especially after using it for 13+ years. We had to buy a second one on amazon since they don’t sell these exact ones locally anymore. My puppy was still in his teething phase when we first introduced him to the old leash so it was almost chewed through. If you have a chewer that likes to protest being on a leash, I wouldn’t recommend this since it doesn’t hold up to abuse well. But it handles my 18-20 pound dogs just fine when used properlyThis is the only leash I will use due to its comfort and controls. I’m expecting this leash to last for at least another ten years if there are no chewing incidents so I hope kong doesn’t stop making theseThe only thing I have a minor issue with is that drops on concrete will result in nicks and scratches but that is understandable considering it’s being dropped on concrete and it’s made of a material that’s sturdy but comfortable in your hand
