My new favorite pee pad – multi uses- only con is they smelled a bit of plastic at first
Wish I could say I needed these for a puppy, but I need them for my senior female dog that is having some nighttime pee accidents while sleeping. After washing throw rugs too much, I chose these pee pads because they come in MANY different sizes so I can use them if she is on my bed, laying under my desk , laying on the floor by the sofa or even in front of her food bowl to catch water dribbles. The various sizes allow me to use them over carpeting, and the tiny rubber grips on the bottom keep them from shifting. I tend to buy a bigger size than I might need so there is excess to hang over a throw rug underneath or to fit up the sides underneath my desk – see photo. They are super easy to throw in the washer. If I dry them in the dryer I use a lower heat setting. I also let them air dry outside. The decorative paw prints make them “fashionable” and functional.

2nd time I’ve bought this product. Am extremely satisfied with how it washes well time after time. It is big and keeps my hardwood floors dry. Price is good too.

Pretty Good Pee Pad, If You Get The Right One
These pads are very well made and do a great job of containing my little dog’s urine. I change and launder these every other day and have noticed no odor nor leaking. My dog is small, 8.5 pounds, so it may be different for larger dogs or puppies. The pads are light weight and easy to fold for storage. These things being said, the reasons for the 4, rather than 5 star review are basically cosmetic. The grey color is extremely pale, more of a very light blue, and definitely nowhere near as dark as depicted. And the measurements are off. Both of these are 34.5″ x 45″, NOT 36″ x 48″. This is not within the 1-2 cm (.39-.79″) allowance that is suggested to be allowed. Overall, I would recommend unless the discrepancy in size is a major sticking point. It is a bit bothersome. UPDATE: The darker color is even more off with the measurements. I would not recommend the darker color. The darker color is sewn crooked all the way around and the measurements are way off. They are also made with much cheaper fabric. I’m going to attempt to send pics with measurements shown. I buy the sizes I need and I expect what I buy to be as the description says. I am aware that a minimal amount of discrepancy in measurements is normal, but these are way too much.The advertised measurements are 36″ x 41″. What I have, measured at the fullest points on these crooked edges, are 34″ x 38.5″. Not satisfactory as far as I am concerned. I would buy the lighter color (closer to light blue than grey) or opt for a different brand.

Best whelping pads hands down!
We had a litter of Golden Retrievers and I bought two of these in the 48″x48″ size and they fit our whelping box perfectly. This is the second set I have purchased. They are the most absorbent pads I have found so far and they don’t leak, they work great at keeping the liquid in, instead of on the surface. They aren’t bulky but thick enough to keep the pee away from the pups. We were changing the pad once per day but now they they are 4 weeks old and the mama isn’t as attentive so we change them out more often. They are machine washable and we hang them out before washing and after to help cut down on odor. All of the other pads we’ve used the liquid stays on the surface. These are well worth the price and the color doesn’t show all the “accidents.” Plus the little paw prints are cute too. They have a grippy bottom layer which also helps keep them in place.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered these for a new puppy for my other dog (😁) and these do absorb the smell. My other dog is a female and my new one is a male and when he is in his kennel, it doesn’t stay in his kennel lol. I washed them today, I had them for a week, and man….they stunk. After I washed (with a pet enzyme remover) them they still had an odor so I took them outside, sprinkled some baking soda and dawn on them. Washed them a water hose and let them air dry. They don’t smell anymore and I like them so much. I bought another set (from Walmart) and it has a plastic bottom and they smelled horrible after I washed them. These, are wonderful. I am actually going to buy another set.

These are great. I have never had the pee soak through the pad. It protects my floors. They machine wash great.

They look nice, but they do not stop moisture from making contact with the floor as the pad is damp to the touch on the underside. So, while you don’t have to deal with a puddle of urine, you still need to properly clean the floor. Also, the smell of urine remains in the material even after using an enzyme spray and washing with bleach and detergent.
