Easy Setup and Maintenance
In the search for a water fountain that provides a ready source of clean (filtered) running water, I think I found it. Quiet. Minimal maintenance. Although my eight-year-old Labrador primarily drank from a gravity-refill water bowl throughout his life, he drank from this fountain without hesitation (a super bonus). In addition, because the water quickly drains through a slit on the side of the shallow lid, my canine companion does not have to lap through its saliva, hair, or other foul environmental debris that has accumulated over the week. A notable feature is the window on the side of the tank, which allows one to see a blue light that turns red when the water level is low. Another feature is the ease of cleaning the fountain. The user unplugs the unit. Although the tank and lid are not small, I can clean them over the kitchen sink with hot water and dish soap. The instructions recommend disassembling and cleaning the pump and replacing the water filter monthly. The only drawback is that water tends to spill over the side while my dog drinks. So, I used a silicone mat with a lip to prevent water from the fountain from spilling onto the floor. Finally, because the 3.4-gallon tank is sizable, it requires a larger mat if I place a food bowl on it. Overall, I’d give this water fountain an “A” for its performance and ease of use.

My Fur Baby is Drinking More Water
My dog loves her new water fountain. My dog never use to drink water like she is now. It is something about running water. The best part is that it is quiet and you don’t hear anything. I replace the water about every 3 days. Hair and little particles seem to stay filtered out. It cleans up super easy and fast. Overall, it’s a nice fountain that keeps my fur baby hydrated. That makes it worth it in it’s self. Great Value!!!

Amazing customer service!
I bought this and I have been extremely happy with it. I’ve had it about 9 months. After about 6 months, as I was cleaning it, I noticed the filter box not shutting correctly and I had to work with it a little bit each time I cleaned it. After two or three times of doing that, the back hinge broke off of the filter box. It was still closing, and it was still doing what it needed to do, for about another month. One day I was cleaning it and the filter box lid came totally off and wouldn’t stay back on. I was not happy, after paying this much money, to have the one thing on the whole bowl that was not stainless steel, break. I reasonably could expect that, a piece of plastic sitting in water 24/7, but I still wasn’t happy. Here’s where the five stars become well deserved!I wrote customer service and explained what happened. I simply wanted to buy another filter box. Again, I didn’t think it was unreasonable that a small piece of plastic broke, but I wanted to repair it and not buy another whole water bowl. Their amazing customer service replied back almost instantly, offering to replace it at no charge. Not only did they replace it in a record time, under a week, but they wrote to me more than once, following through on shipment, delivery, and even to see how the replacement went. I’m such a fan of theirs, and I will be sure to lean their way with any purchases I need to make for things that they sell. Anyone with customer service like that will be in business a long timeNow all of that above did not say anything at all about the fountain itself. I have three pomskies, 50 lb, 25 lb, and 15 lb, and two 15 lb ragdoll cats. We use a lot of water, and with the cats, it needs to be filtered because ragdolls need fresh, moving water to prevent crystals in the urine, especially my male cat. This bowl holds enough water that I only have to fill it about every 3 days. This is such a change from having four filter bowls running at the same time, and having to fill them daily. The water stays fresh, and I clean it about every two weeks and put a fresh filter in about every 4 weeks. It’s easy to clean, being stainless steel, and easy to put back together. My cats love to drink out of the spigot from the top, my dogs drink from the reservoir. There was no learning curve at all, they went straight to it and started drinking when I got it. It’s quiet, and even when it’s almost empty, it is not noisy. When the water is down very low, a red light will show through a little window. Otherwise as long as it’s blue, they have plenty of water. This is a great product and I highly recommend getting it for your pets.
