Pairs and works fine with slight modification to instructions
These paired fine with both of my Liftmaster Chamberlain openers (1997-2003) after a slight modification to the instructions. On steps 3 and 4 – continue to hold down the program button after the LED stays on while you press the Smart/learn button of the the door opener motor. Then on step 5 – don’t wait for the light to stop flashing (it won’t). After a few seconds of flashing, just release it and immediately press it again. On the second press of the button, my opener light flashed and the remote was programmed. I did not need step 6. I hope this helps someone. This method worked with both of the remotes I purchased. They continue to work fine. I am completely satisfied with the product.

Does not work with Genie openers
Did not work as promoted. Not compatible with the Genie opener. Spent almost two hours trying. Contacted the manufacturer. Was given AI instructions. No follow up. Very frustrating. Not a huge expense. Evidently more made in China low quality junk.

Worked well with older home
This opener programmed well and was compatible with our garage door. We have a Chamberlain Lift Master in a house built in the early 2000s. The only thing is with it being a two pack it made my husband’s old remote not work on the garage door. This wasn’t a big deal I just gave him the second opener.

Very pleased but instructions need to be improved!
Great product but instructions are not clear! We have 2 Garage Doors with DIP Switches but there was no mention of how to program the 2nd door. After several unsuccessful attempts, we realized that after programming the 1st Button, the “Program” button should be depressed again to end the cycle. Then, to program the 2nd Door, change the DIP Switches to match the 2nd door, Press the “Program” button, then hit the 2nd button the required number of times and complete the programming by pressing the “Program” button again. We were very pleased to figure this out and hope that it helps someone else. Remotes work great and definitely worth the purchase!

Lo primero que hice al recibir los controles fue leer el manual, que solo está en inglés, seguí las instrucciones al pie de la letra y ningún control funcionó. Revisé algunos videos en internet y me entero que falta un paso muy importante y hay diferencias en otro paso. Para puertas automáticas marca Genie busquen el video de YouTube “Programming Clicker Universal Garage Door Remote to Genie Intellicode Screwdrive Opener”
